Mate...can you do a video on how to replace or fit the left hand or right front inside door lever from.the card? My daughter has two to replace and I'd rather watch you do it first so I can grab a pizza and do it! Cheers!
Why do you slag of products made in china, you are a f#ck wit, as an electronic engineer here in Australia they make high quality products that the rest of the world can not even come close of making in fact here Oz we are like a 3rd world country in making anything, you need to pull you head in.
I have a 07 VZ last of the fleet, built in August, v6 3.6lt I have a k&n filter, just a normal one to replace the paper one, hehe, when I put my foot down, you can actually hear it growl, 😅 elates me to the hills and back 🤣
Yes, absolutely. I addressed in a later video. You can install and run. Its very drivable but not good. Despite claims of OTR manufacturers, you will go in around 60% throttle limp mode. As I was still waiting on the exhaust to install and at $700 a tune. Its best to get around and do the tune after. If you do just an OTR, budget for a tune. About $700 to $1000 + the OTR. On the VF SV6, you should love the results after a tune and OTR. You will notice increased acceleration and better fuel on the Highway. For those who complain its just a V6, Id agree but with better fuel economy I disagree. You will recoup some of the cost over time
Cheers for the info mate , been wanting to fit one in my vf Calais but wasn't to sure if it was worth it or not. Just watched your exhaust video also and it sounded real nice for a 6.
Hey Mate, By no means an expert so don't take my word for it but maybe your turbo is leaking oil internally but could always be a head gasket considering it's white smoke. You could also have a more simple problem for example your injectors are bad or your timing is off or low fuel pressure. Have a good one.
Endorphins to keep keyboard warriors like you going and for those who enjoy modifying their cars. We provide safe spaces for you to be a goose because to do so in a non internet scenario would lead you into having a sudden interest in broken jaw/nose recovery videos. Youre welcome mate.
Dear smart person on the internet. Some questions need to be answered. What model commodore is in the video that you linked? Are the headlight assemblies the same on a VE and VF commodore? Have you ever replaced a dipper globe on a VF commodore? Can you get your whole hand in a 12mm gap between the rear of the headlight moulding and the large plastic housing? Now, after getting your hand in that gap, up to your wrist. Can your turn your hand at more than a right angle? Now can you without seeing the assembly undo a spring and take the globe out? Now can you replace this globe with a new one without touching the glass? I tell you what. Bring your car over, If you can change the dipper globe like in the video you linked on my car. You can take the car. If you fail, Ill keep yours and you walk home. Moral of the story, VE commodores have different lights to VFs.
Cool vid mate. Ive had 2 v8s but now proud owner of my VF v6 calais. I’m going to do the same mods as you and get a tune. These v6s really get up and go and I love the fuel economy
Apologies for that, you are right. Eventually my passenger side dipper went. It was more tighter on that spring than the other one. I scratched my head for 5 minutes, had a cupper came back and had another look at it. I shall definitely put a diagram in next time.
I stand by this method, it sucks balls with the extra steps but it's a hell of a lot easier. I couldn't do it with how it's supposed to be done, my hands are too big.
Not sure if it was yourself or someone else, but using a piece of string attached to the back of the bulb through one of the holes in one of the pins, until it is locked in with the clip, was a game changer. Made it so much easier.
