Great question! These all held up very well. My prescription changed though so I don't wear them and plan to donate them. I learned that a slimed down collection is much easier to manage too. I did repurchase Translucent Round Glasses #7818623 in my updated prescription and wear them every day! I got 1.67 Blokz Photochromic - Gray so they tint darker when I am outside in the sun.
@@kristenbrasil I just ordered a couple of pair last week for a new prescription and was debating on getting their house photochromic lenses. What are your thoughts on them?
@@kristenbrasil I hear you about not buying so many especially when your used to spending hundreds for one pair and now I can get 15 to 20 pairs for the amount I used to pay for one lol
Thanks for sharing your Zenni haul. One of the better haul videos IMHO. I like that you demo'd ordering options, pupillary distance and showed frame styles with and without nosepads. The aviator frames you didn't like, I think might've fit better if the nosepads were adjusted to lay wider apart so they rested more softly on your nose. Finally, for pupil distance, there's a free app called GlassesOn that is really easy to use and is accurate. Zenni actually incorporates the technology into their site these days (2022) when you measure PD during the ordering process. In any case, thanks for the great video.
You look great in nearly all of your glasses. The small aviators not good. Larger pair were OK. Not my favourite, but still nice. The only ones I was not too fond of was the big red ones. Just a little over the top! You are so pretty. Love your bold eyebrows and lovely dark eyes. I am interested in how you do your lighting? Almost no reflection showing on the lenses, but just a little sparkle in your pupils. I don't think I have ever seen a glasses wearer with such good lighting on their video. For sure, I have seen plenty using ring lights. Usually looks awful with specs. Maybe that is an idea for a future video?
Those of us with heart shapes can get away with nearly any style. Good review of your Zenni haul and most of them fit but the red square glasses were way too big for your petite face. A tad smaller and they would have looked great!
Mine are so expensive, girl I’m jealous I pay 130 just for one zenni pair and 1000 at a regular eye glass place ! I love zenni I’ve been using them for 3 years now , glasses are so expensive especially when you need them every year when insurance only pays every two years
Frames are reasonably priced nearly everywhere you look but the lens upgrades drive the cost up. Thinner lenses, premium antireflective coatings and photochromatic add ons can turn cheap glasses into premium ones. If your prescription doesn’t change much they’re a good value but if your vision keeps getting worse, its probably better to hold costs down. If you keep glasses for several years, spending more may be justified. If your prescription value keeps getting increased, probably not.
I love the way you present yourself! Your personality and confidence, the way you speak! The quality of your videos are so clean and professional. Hope you upload soon again!
your videos are awesome! You should try the higher index, it thins your lense and makes the shrinking of your eyes less noticeable (i have the same problem)
Thank you! I am going to order more soon. Do you think there is a big difference between 1.61 and 1.67? I normally go for 1.61 but your comment has me thinking I should go for the higher index! Thank you!
KRISTEN MARIE huge difference and also be conscious of the width of the glasses (it depends on how wide your face is) get glasses that are not wider than your face it’s harder to see the shrinkage and 1.67 is a thinner lens so there’s way less distortion. My prescription is -6 for reference. If your prescription is higher go one notch above what zenni suggests and always get oleophobic coating instead of the basic scratch coating (game changer)
@@kristenbrasil I'm actually a retired optician and can answer the lens thickness question for you as well as others. I saw that your prescription 3 years ago was Right eye -2.50 -1.75 92 / Left eye -3.50 -1.75 99 . So you do have a rather strong prescription when you include your astigmatisms. But any type of full frame you should be fine with just the 1.61 "high index" lens option. If you were to ever get a very thin wireframe, semi-rimless or rimless type frame then you may want to consider going with the 1.67 thickness in your glasses. If you were to ever get a rather bold plastic framed pair of glasses you could even just get the free lens option of 1.56 in your glasses. In other words the thicker the frame the less lens thickness is seen.
You should do a tinted glasses review! I ordered mine like 2 days ago and the will probably get here in 2 weeks ( they usually do) and im going to try making my first youtube vid lol but you have the whole glasses review thing down so it would be cool to see one from you
Victor hey! These are not affiliate links and there is no sponsorship to disclose. I just used Bitly to make the URLs smaller. I also paid for these all myself. I wouldn’t do that as I hate when people do that. It is very misleading. 😁
Just wondering if they offer microthins or ultra thin lenses my prescription calls for a thick lense which I always order the thin so I dont look like a mad sientist
In your opinion, do you think the it’s worth the extra $29.95 for the 1.61 Blokz high index lens. Any major differences whether physically or visually between that and the free lens? Other than the blue light blocking of course.
Richard Sarabia sorry for the delay! I should probably put my YT notifications on. Between the free mid index and the 1.61 blokz, the quality of the lens is crisper and thinner for sure! I hope this helps!
I love your video! I think we are all like you. Like potato chips, can’t eat just one! I think what I would like to ask you is. The box is wonderful that you keep them all in and organized. Can you let us know where you purchased it? Keeps everything so organized. Love the way you have them all set up. Wish I knew about these glasses years ago. My round pair is coming. Says shipped two days ago! Can’t wait. Your glasses box? Thank you.
June Olsen ‘Rood’ thanks so much! I love switching it up! I have a bunch of organizers and have purchased them both from amazon and ebay! Here is one from Amazon amzn.to/2LHi5n1 the ebay link I have is no longer active. I have seen them for like $19.99 on ebay!
Yeah everytime I get new glasses I get kinda dissy I get 1.67 my rx is 8.50 and 7.25, I get my glasses at costco and paid 260 for 2 pairs dude one pair are regular glasses with all the bells and whistles(polished edges, anti reflective coding, and HD vision). And the other pair is a pair of rayban looking glasses and I got them polarized with all the bells and whistles.
ManCave TV I know what you mean! if I don’t get high index I can’t physically close the glasses because the lenses are so thick haha! I have a pair of ray bans that I can’t put in a case because of it! Try out the polycarbonate from Zenni! You can get like 6 pairs for the price of 1!
Kristen I paid 294$ for my coach glasses but your glasses look awesome on you... You look amazing lol... Happy Holidays Kristen Im Adrian Btw i think your cute and funny
