Beautiful! Christ shall come very soon in the clouds of Heaven to take His faithful saints home to live with Him and God the father forever. Repent ye for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand. That includes me.
I started out with a old flat top. I put a pencil up by the nut under the strings to raise them up and used a spark plug socket for slide!!! I tuned it in open "E". Been playing Pedal Steel now for over 40 years.
Nice! Every now and then, I pick up my cheapest acoustic guitar with fairly high action, tune it to an open chord, pull out my tone bar and just play around.
Nice job. I remember when this song came out on the radio. It really launched Ronnie's career. It was written by Eddie Rabbit. He also wrote Kentucky Rain and when Elvis recorded it in the studio he used Ronnie Milsap on piano.
