Its funny waching americans talk about tilt buckets like its some new thing. In europe its been in standard set of buckets with mini/midi excavators as long as i can rememer.
I was out using my Mongo attachments flail mulcher today and was wonder if you guys had completed the RD on the power rake. Looks like you have. Love my mulcher, runs great on my cat 303.5.
I don't care about patenting this idea but why has no one come up with a conversion kit to change that pin into a hydraulic pin that slides backwards and forwards inside the coupler? I have three attachments that I probably spend an hour each day changing over when I have multiple different things I have to do, and after 10 jobs that's $1,500 just in the time it takes me to swap buckets
This is pretty useless without an electrically operated diverter valve. Most of the time you are operating something with two functions and toggling the valve all the time will not work.
If you're installing the couplers on to the block on the machine, do you typically install a male and female, male and male, or female and female? The attachment I'm ordering comes with hoses, and I have to provide the fittings for both the hoses and machine. I know what thread pattern goes on the hoses and machine, but not clear on which sexes are normally installed on the machine side.
Wish I would have found this vid on my first search. Coupler sellers on Ebay told me this coupler wouldn't work without the hydraulic x-change system. Thanks for the info!
Great explanation of the flat face fittings. I have the ag style on my Kubota loader valve and they have been a pain. For some reason pressure builds up on the loader end when I disconnect and I can't get them together without bleeding the fittings. Thinking of going to the flat face fittings.
I bet that's a good setup, having the standard arm with the extra counterweight. In really tight situations, you can always take the xtra weight off. I wonder how much more powerful the standard arm seems....
I have the 50-inch on my u55-5 and could not be happier. The unit truly is plug and play/work. Hoses are the right length, coupler fit properly, the routing and securement is second to none. The fabrication quality, fit, and finish are exceptional. I expect this bucket to outlast me. Thanks to Jordan for bringing this level of quality and service to the market!
Well I always have a hard time connecting the tilt bucket I bought from you. For some reason I can’t release the pressure to attach right side of the hose. Couple of times I had to use it I had to disconnect flat face off the hose and then reinstall it. I called for support but I was told it was my machine. But I have no problem attaching to any other attachment but your tilt bucket.
It’s because the flat face couplers on the tilt bucket are probably low quality. All my cheap attachments are hard to attach but all my expensive ones are easy to attach
