Welcome to my channel. I started a 30 day FB live challenge on Dec. 2, 2020 during the pandemic. My reason for accepting the challenge was to support my friend who was doing it and to use the opportunity to increase my intention to start off 2021 strong. As I started the challenge, I wanted to be able to add value in some way to those watching. Thanks for the info, watching my hives inflammation fade day after day until they completely vanished was such a relief, I went with what I pointed out and within the first 10 days or so the urticaria was barely visible! I just go'ogled the latest by Shane Zormander and after 20 days my skin has never been healthier!

Wow! How many days? This is my first time doing a 5 day fast. Thanks for the encouragement. Today was more of a challenge. Not going to lie. Less than a day left…then 🤤🤤🤤 lol
@@etran222 I fasted twice for six days, and only did the second one because I didn't like how I ended the first. Some similar experiences: I felt the most hunger on the second day, and tried to satisfy my food craving (which was actually not that bad after day 2), by going around smelling foods I liked (as if I could subsist on inhaling food instead of swallowing!). But doing that didn't further one of the purposes of the fast, which was mind training and habit control. It was a good lesson in self-discipline. These days I'm working on the daily short-term fasting you mentioned, which is much easier to establish as a routine than full day or multi-day fasting. Twelve hours is probably ideal; I'm only at ten (typically 8 pm to 6 am). My former habit of eating late at night was almost always emotion-based and was almost always junk food. What benefits in cutting that out of my life!
@@sierragreen that’s amazing! Good on you for doing 6 days. Any tips on how to break the fast for the first few days? I do intermittent fasting 3-4 days a week and I go minimum 16 hours, usually 18. I love how it simplifies my eating. Less time for cooking and eating :)
@@etran222 I would say start slowly with healthy and easy to digest foods, such as fruits and veggies. Maybe something like the fresh celery juice would be a great top-off to the cleansing benefits of the fast. The problem I had with both fasts was feeling too hungry to not go straight to solid food. I think that's awesome that your intermittent fasting is 16-18 hours. That's a genuine daily fast. I would only be concerned with having to cram my daily food needs in that short 6-8 hour meal period.
@@sierragreen thanks for the tips! I went easy the first day and a half. Then basically went back to eating normally today. I started slow with intermittent fasting and worked up from there
