"Thank you so much! I'm glad you appreciate the all-over trimming technique. You're absolutely right - it's not just about chopping the ends. A good trim should maintain the hair's overall shape and health. This method helps distribute the cut evenly, reducing split ends throughout the hair while preserving length and style. It's always rewarding to hear from viewers who understand and value these detailed aspects of hair care!"
Sorry I disagree I have people that I do here and I grow the hair out and all I do is how oil treatments I do not cut their stuff cuz if you don't cut it at the right spot it's going to be more split ends
"Thank you for sharing your experience! It's great that you've found a method that works well for you and your clients. Everyone's hair is different, so it's wonderful to hear about various approaches. While oil treatments can certainly be beneficial, many hair care professionals still recommend regular trims to manage split ends effectively. The key is indeed trimming at the right spot, which is why professional training is so valuable. Perhaps a combination of your oil treatments and occasional precise trims could offer the best of both worlds? Either way, it's always interesting to learn about different hair care techniques!"

Can you go into a little more detail WHY blow dried ends NEVER come out right? You ain't lying tho! I'm trying to find a way around that dry messy look that the blowdry gives to my ends. And if the roots aren't straight you can't even wrap it!! 😥
"Great question about blown dried ends! While blow drying can be a useful styling tool, it's important to use it correctly to avoid damage. Here's how I address this issue: 1. Immediate wrapping: I always wrap the hair right away after blow drying. This helps to seal in moisture and protect the ends from environmental factors. 2. Regular trims: Keeping up with proper and consistent trims is crucial. This prevents split ends from traveling up the hair shaft and causing more damage. 3. Heat control: I use the Tymo hair brush from Amazon. It's a game-changer! It helps distribute heat more evenly, reducing the risk of overheating and damage to the ends. 4. Proper technique: I make sure to keep the dryer moving and not focus too long on one area, especially the ends. 5. Heat protectant: Always use a good heat protectant product before blow drying. Remember, healthy hair starts with healthy practices. With the right approach, you can minimize damage and keep your ends looking fabulous!"
That glove on your hand is protect you from the excessive heat that you are using. So imagine the hair strands pain from the heat. Yes heat damage is real!!!!
The good thing about stylist in the hair industry , we empower you to choose how you want to style your Natural Hair. Whether you prefer fun or a natural look, the choice is yours. How does your curl pattern not dry flat or lop sided while you sleep?? If I did that I’d wake up and all my curls would be ill shaped flat and crazy. I can’t sleep on wet hair. What’s the secret??? Or is it just my hair
"It took me a minute, I too struggled with wet hair. Eventually, it started working. Don't give up! Persistence pays off in the end. Keep at it and you'll see the results you are looking for. Remember, great things take time and effort. Stay motivated and keep pushing forward."
In the video, I had the opportunity to discuss the journey of transitioning hair with a client who is embarking on a year-long process. We decided not to lighten her ends as her hair is currently dyed black, and further lightening could cause unnecessary damage. Once hair is dyed black, it's challenging to lighten it. This video showcases her patience and commitment to the process, where we focus on regular trims to gradually achieve her desired look.
I love the gloss for transitioning. Mine grew out salt and pepper and the gloss eased that transition so well. Three years out and it's between the shoulder blades and waist. I know people who say I'm too old for long hair. At 65 unless your paying my bills 😅 you've got no say in the matter. A whole lot less maintenance now as well.
