Sir, what if the left and right rotor synchronized by shaft, in case of one motor fail, like the real plane, will it be stable on hovering.. i guess rotormast model havent come to Indonesian market..
I bought a Duratrax Raze ST and it had this engine on it. Going through it now. Also I bought 2 more of these motors from eBay, thinking of rebuilding all 3. I also bought an almost new Duratrax Raze (no motor) but it now has a FC X26 on it.
dont get me wrong i appreciate your vid but in my opinion you could had spent way less money for a way better monster truck... this thing is stiff , over priced and poorly built ... losi should really be ashamed of themselves
Losi could have done a better job, no doubt, but I still really enjoy this MT. It has it's weeknesses, but with some upgrades it's been great. I was also gifted this MT. I've only invested in the upgrades and I'm a tinkerer, so it's what I do anyway. I've let other people drive it as well, and they've all loved it so far. It will be one I'll keep for the duration. Thanks again for you comments.
@@rcaddictions7385 thank you for the humble reply . i meant no harm i just love rc monster trucks and for this losi to look so sweet but perform so bad really drives me insane
My most favorite bag that I have ever owned. Where did you get yours? I got mine at Lowes about 10 years ago, and it is pretty banged up. I can't find this bag anywhere for purchase in the US. Thanks! I just finished the video and caught the part where you said discontinued and only available in the UK. Thanks for posting!
I had to buy a couple deferent parts to put it all together. A Rigid Stand, from Home Depot, and the top plate was home made. I made the tool tray from an aluminum griddle from a sporting goods store. You can now get a top plate from DDM.
A lot of people used the LRP 28. But any good 28 will work great!! You may have to do some extra clutch bell shimming for which ever engine you purchase.
I believe some people are using them on the X-Maxx. But you need to pull them apart and do the tape mod on the inside of the tire. Use good duck tape, or gorilla tape. Once the tire is off the wheel, turn it inside out and use two layers of tape on the inside , this helps keep the tire from balooning, then flip it right side out and make sure the bead locks are properly seated when you re-assemble. There are some videos on this mod.
@@rcaddictions7385 I know of the tape-mod....I always wandered though if that solution is permanetly. Is'nt the tape comming after some time you think? These rims and tires are also super expensive from what I saw. The wheels alone would set me back 300ish, right?
Yep, they want too much for them in my opinion. The tape mod should last a good long time, if you don't get them wet. I usually plug the vent hole on mine. These wheels and tires are still available for now, but since the MTXL is discontinued, they will probably go away at some point.
I just flew my kit built BOT today. Boy does it turn slow. Mine was slightly tail heavy too ill tune that before my next flight. Your flight looked real good as you got her back in one piece, that's always a good day of flying in my book.
I Portal. A 23 cc. 2 bold very old end used Bad! With smol muffler! In the RC Car rady to Run. I hold the Back Side Up! End Hit the Gas! I got 21.000 RPM! Show at the remot Control Display. No Fake.
Been here watched this and yes it's awesome! But I'm here for the Osprey videos! Lol! Brother that Osprey is crazy! Wow, so cool! I watched the oldest one first and was glad to see that the whoopsie was just a hard landing! Awesome!
Thanks Brother!! Glat to hear from you. The Osprey has been a challenge, but fun as well. Leson learned on the mode switch for sure. I haven't had much time lately to catch up on your channel. I need to get over there soon. I also hope to post another vid on the Osprey soon. Keep um flying!!
@@rcaddictions7385 When I first saw the Osprey on your build video I honestly thought that's gonna be a challenge to get to fly. Lol! No worries on watching my vids brother. Hope you have a blessed weekend. Enjoy!
Always remember the rule of thumb for aircraft. Start with COG at 33% from leading edge at root end of wing (where wing touches fuz) then move forward if needed to 30%.This is a safe start for new aircraft. Love the BOT have one my self electric conversion done . Love it. !!!! cheers
Thanks Geoffrey, I've been enjoying the BOT. All I've had for a glider before this one is an old Goldberg Electra Deluxe. This one is a bit more challenging and more fun to fly. Plus way more power! Cheers!!
After a while one or two does fall into the bottom of the bag. I’ve been thinking of sowing the elastic a little tighter. But so far it hasn’t been that big of a deal for me. Thanks for the comments. The bag itself has been great!
Thanks!! I've got a 1/4 scale Nosen Cub on the bench, as well as Sig LT 40 I'm building for my grandsons. Just finished up an Addiction XL from Precision Aerobatics. What a fun plane. I need to get some video of it in the air soon. God bless ya bro! Ho, and I liked the disappearing duck vid you posted!!
@@rcaddictions7385 You're very welcome my brother. That Addiction XL is awesome! Sounds like some great planes... Thanks for watching the disappearing ducks... Lol!
Wow nice truck man!! Super clean! I see some good upgrades in there. Smart man going after the diffs with aluminum. Did you change out the center diff cup too?
You can still get most of the parts from Losi. Half the parts are DBXL and half are MTXL. Dave's Motors also has a lot of the parts in stock. And Detroitperformancerc.com has a bunch of upgrades for the MTXL.
The DBXL pipe is a little different. I think some people are using it with some modification for mounting and exit. The MTXL pipe is longer. I got mine from DDM and it is the MTXL version. I'm really liking it! You don't want to use the stock muffler. If the deflector pops off, you will burn the body. And the deflector will pop off, and be lost. There are a couple of different options for the MTXL exhaust if you look around.
I have this bag for my plumbing, I can't stand throwing all my tools onto one big toolbox and having to search for something when I need it and end up having to empty it out to find what I'm looking for!...this is also good because you can see what tool goes where and of one is missing easily when you pack up. It comes with a shoulder strap but it's pretty useless and breaks easy, also wouldn't want to carry it on your shoulder for long with a full bag of tools. And you can guarantee that if you take that 1/2" socket set out you'll need it the next time youre working 😂
Sounds like your going for speed. I've got the aluminum upgrade parts for both diffs, but haven't tore it apart yet. But soon. I'm just keeping the stock engine for now.
@@rcaddictions7385 i just HATE redlining so fast. Still gonna be dirt. Ya i bought another stock diff but with a warranty. When they pay they pay that off it will go to all FID parts for it. ill update my 2nd gear and bigger motor. Almost done.
Sounds great! Post a vid if you get a chance. I've got my diffs out and found a bad gear. Now I have to order more parts! I'll get them on the way soon.
@@rcaddictions7385 Look up FID for parts. Thats where i got the 2nd gear. I have to buy ANOTHER pipe for the 45cc the 29cc don't fit. So now another made to order pipe. W/E i just want it done. Ya ill send pics when i get it back i figure 2 more weeks tops. ALL WORTH IT !!
Sweet tool bag my bro! Very Nice ready to go! Bike is getting prepped as well and air ride on the truck is gonna be awesome! Have a great night my brother May God Bless you and yours my friend!
Amen my brother I was needing to hear that edification for it is not about Religion, Yahweh/God found no man righteous in his eyes but it is about a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jeshua/Jesus! Thank you and may God bless you and yours!
Great fight my bro I have wanted this Addiction X for many years and still do! Working those rolling circles try to start from a slow high alpha attitude and just blip the throttle to get it to hang on the prop... Lol I know easier said than done! Nice flight my bro thanks for some motivation! 🙏😎👍
It's been a while since I've had my 5T apart. Let me get ahold of a couple people and see if they want to make a few, and I'll pull it off and send it in for replicating!
Just got off the phone with Steve, at DDM, and I'm going to send him some pictures today, and he's going to see about making some up. Start bugging him and I think he will get going on them.
Brother Landing with the throttle pinned breaks these suckers every time! If you had the billet case the gears would have broken instead! So at least your gears are good! Time for some upgrades! Sorry to see you busted it but its apart of the hobby! You will get it fixed no problem! God bless you my brother!! Oh I love love love the Basset Hounds bro!!
Thanks brother Jeff! I figured that's what got me! Sorry for the delay in the reply, youtube didn't notify me! That's happening more often for some reason. I'll have to watch the whisky throttle! God Bless you as well brother!
Great share and nice flying! I own a multitude of rcs.. boats, drones, cars blah blah blah. I do not have helicopters or planes. This flight looked so fun but I’d surely crash a plane!
