i already knew how to use a blender and knew some blending and shadows but the only confusion i had with the paper stumps was how to clean them... Thnx for the tip first i was using my fingers to blend as the good ol method but i had some problems with the shading gradients because it smudges too much.... so thnx again..
Hi, I watched this one Sunday morning with my granddaughter. We loved its simplicity and also your background talk. Keep up the good work. It’s appreciated.
I had gotten some art supplies and these blender sticks was in with it. I had no idea what it was! 😂 Back in school we used to use bits of wadded up soft type paper for blending (like a bit of paper towel). Gee, I had forgotten all about that!! But these sticks - I sure don't remember those at all. Thanks for showing what they are.
Rotating it definitely helps! The goal is to "clean" it, but you also want to keep it's shape, because once that tip turns into a nub, the blender isn't so useful anymore.
I definitely wouldn't suggest doing that... the sand paper block has many layers of sandpaper, so when it gets really dirty, you just peel off the top piece and it reveals a new one! 😃
this video is really usefull, before i watched this i don't know at all about how to use pencil stump at all and i completely do what you just said not to in this video, like trying to blend lines and using the blender by the tip only. thanks a lot it really helped me
