I would encourage you, your viewers, and anyone interested in this product to study the carpal anatomy and kinesiology as it pertains to the wrist and the median nerve. Stay safe and healthy all!
i bought one myself (barebones kit), along with the other neccesary things to build the keyboard. im just glad that other people other than me have the idea of using vintage looking keycaps on the ek75
Really appreciate it mate 🙌 Anything in particular you would be interested in like PC, Camera, microphone? Everything? I can also give you some recommendations right here. What is your budget and what do you need for that budget?
@amazedmax I use a gopro 12 at the minute every time I watch everyone youtube best videos etc they always go on and on at the end they don't really give a straight forword answer I'm not clue up with all the setting and thing with the high tech stuff buddy
@@amazedmax Thanks for your reply. I followed the link in the "gear I use" section in the box below your video. The other 2 links in this section worked fine.
I think you are not using the right size of the Carpio for your hand! Is it a small size or large size you have? Because when I see your hand in the video at min 3:07 it seems like to be big for your hand. ☺ Anyway thank your for your honest review!
Awesome video! You should make more of these . Quick question , What aspect ratio did you render in? I have the exact same set up as you but when I render my video is cropped in and doesn't fit the screen the way yours does .
Thank you very much mate 🙌 I actually don't have the project date anymore, but I think I just used the open gate aspect ratio in Davinci Resolve which should be 6240 x 4160px for the Fuji X-H2s. However, I do believe that it is not possible to do that in the free version in Resolve ❌
this keyboard has a very similar aesthetic to the cidoo v75 which is made by epomaker. it has the same lines in the case. i like that they have different looking keyboards with this retro beige aesthetic.
Thank you mentioning that 😄 That's actually from the content I started with. But I will change it to something which works a bit more with the kind of content I am doing right now 💯
never seen your videos before; i love all the editing. i dont know if you're looking for feedback but your color grading on the videos seems a bit saturated, the colors kind of all blend together too much. not sure if you're using a filter. otherwise wonderful job mate!
Thank you so much for your words. That really means a lot to me 🙏 I am actually using a Black Mist Filter on my camera and the Cineprint16 Powergrade 🌈
About the condensation, actually you should be more worried about when you're going from warm to cold. Cold atmosphere is dry and it would not cause harm because the condensation is mainly at the outside of the device, it usually wouldn't cause any real trouble. However, if you're going from warm room to cold outside, the warm air in your device is kinda dangerous because the condensation would build up internally. Try get a couple dehumidifiers in your rogue/roam which helps to keep the internal environment generally dry.
@@amazedmax Yeah I learnt it the hard way, I used to be living in a city where its got warm humid weather and tons of powerful AC enabled rooms. Result is that I found 3 of my everyday carrying gears got mould within just one summer.
I don't think this works well with ergonomic mice, and for ppl who use high DPI settings. You made an excellent point regarding the rotation of your wrist when using the Carpio, because I also find my wrist to be at an angle when gripping my mouse. I was going to buy the g2.0 to try it out, but after seeing your video I think I'll pass. I used to use a traditional type of wrist rest, but I recently stopped and realised that I don't experience any wrist pain without it. Sometimes less is more.
The thing is it is not bad, it actually works, but not for everyon. My sister with smaller hand says its perfect and works greatly for her that her hand doesnt lie the weird way and for me it is I think a bit small on the thumb bone( or Im just using it incorrectly) but except for that its okay. Maby a bit too pricey haha
what is the reason to put the battery in the top compartment and not in the back one? it would keep top compartment less crowded, and also lighter for easier opening?
Hard to say. The 6l was also quite tempting for me but I choose to go with the 9l because of the extra space for a water bottle and equipment. If you don’t use the space for a water bottle and you don’t carry a lot of gear than you are probably better off with the 6l version 👍
@@amazedmax oh nah, I meant you should watch some videos about the keyboard instead of just buying it straight, if you do, dont complain about it then :) It's for others
I have to disagree with your comments on weather resistance. In my experience the rain gets in very easily. I think it gets in through the back as there seems to be no weather barrier between the padded back and the interior of the bag. Twice I've had the inside of my 9l get very very damp and my gear was not protected from the rain.
Mmm… that’s very weird because I never had that problem. It could be worth it to contact the support because I also never heard anybody talking about this
Just checked out the Hex Ranger and it is missing one key feature for me as a cyclist and photographer. There is no 3rd attachment point for securing the sling when in motion, which the Wandrd Rogue has.
@Khalmoon I'm very happy with the Rogue, I fit my x-t5 with a 16-80 attached and 2 primes, there's still enough room for batteries and lots of other things. It also looks really nice, so far it has handled wear and tear pretty well.
Quite frankly, I found the Hex Ranger way better overall costing a third of the price. I have both the Peter McKinnon 8L sling and the Hex Ranger, and I don't see the Rogue competing here in any way.
On the their website the Hex Ranger Sling V2 costs $100 and I got the Wandrd Sling for 105€. I also do prefer the look of the Wandrd Sling. Maybe the prices are different outside Germany 📊
I have the 6L version and agree with your desire for side pockets and limited use of the bottom expandable “pocket” being somewhat flimsy. Overall, it’s a great sling. For security, I use the key clip in the front pocket as my security lock on the main zipper. You can keep it outside of the front pocket and clip it onto the main zipper loop. What flat umbrella do you have?
thank you for the review here, its really helpful. I was looking for something a bit more elegant than my gel wrist supports but this isnt it and thats helpful! I will say for me, a split keyboard supports your natural wrist twist as its raised in the middle, and it fixed a load of pains, without having to do exercises
