This is truly sad listening to the veterans narrative. The poverty clearly shows on their faces. There is no bigger betrayal to compare with the betrayal that our freedom fighters have suffered from the successive Kenyan governments since independence, to be ignored, neglected, abused, and made to watch as the fruits and benefits of independence rightly belonging to them were stolen by colonial sympathisers masquerading as the winners of Kenya's freedom. You know the likes of whom I am referring to. The dire political and economic situation that Kenya is mired in is nothing else but the curse that follows the betrayal.
I am sorry , I just came to know this Great African woman who epithomises the real African Humanity. Please I am so excited I can not stop listening to you My Sister CHIMAMANDA. She is beautiful physically and, intellectually . I like her truthfulness, the courage she exhibites .She is a great writer. If you ask me : Have you read any of her book. My answer is no.Thank GOD I discovered CHIMAMANDA and will now look for her books to read. Thank you Africa.
