Very cool Kevin! Can you talk about your flowing process equipment? Just got an air rework station to play with smd.....And a pile of tbs vtx to repair:-) I keep browning the white plastic connectors, so maybe I’m heating too aggressively?
Nice! Browning is something I still do. I did it towards the end of the stream so I ended up swapping out a few connectors. You should try to avoid heating the connector for too long. If you can get the solder to flow and do your rework in a shorter period that should help. Another thing to try is adding a heat shield to that. Like a small piece of foil that covers the connector. I haven't tried this myself but you can try that to avoid directly heating the connector housing.
The exact one from the vendor I purchased seems to be out of stock but this looks like similar (if not the same) to the one I have. www.amazon.com/dp/B01JKHJRPM/ref=dp_prsubs_1
Great flying man! I was looking at these as a way to get a bit more flight time out of my race quads since I dont race much anymore and I now live in the middle of know where so there is unlimited long and medium range spots to rip... do you find that they give you any more flight time when flying an average mix of freestyle and just cruising?
Awesome ripping! That track at IO was Epic! I met you at IO, you told me about the "secret project" AKA the Synergy F4 Flight Controller and BOOOMM it's coming! I am super excited, and will most likely pre-order from Heli-nation or from whitenoise website store. Great job making this FC happen !!!!!!!!
i went there over the weekend to get my first taste of this action. It was sick, def will look into getting into this as a hobby. hopefully I can get as skilled as those folks that were racing. it was awesome to see.
That was some awesome flying Whitenoise! Your flying over the weekend inspired me to persevere on the sport to become better. I hope I get a chance to race in the future with you.
Hi, I'm beginner, when I make a coordinated turn, I've to make at same time the yaw and the roll, but I have to make at the same time the pitch back, too? For not to increase speed at the exit of the turn? Thanks
I was tearing my hair out trying to do exactly what you're teaching. Your description of the procedure in the beginning is especially helpful and better than any I've watched so far. Thanks much bro! I've made good progress already, but I find it'll take much more practice before I develop the muscle memory to find the right balance between yaw and pitch. Right now it's still a hit and miss for me but it's nonetheless a wonderful breakthrough.
