Canal de un grupo de portablistas de Madrid (España) que comenzó a quedar en abril de 2024. Hay vídeos enseñando tipos de scratches, además de sesiones de sus miembros.
@eddiek1231 if you own any soundcard that is class compliant (this is, that requires no drivers for Mac), then it should work automatically with any Android or iOS/iPadOS device (no need to setup: the video recorder app should automatically record audio from the soundcard input instead of from the internal mic) We use a Behringer U-Control UCA222 + OTG adapter for an Android phone. But can be a UCA202 or UFO202 instead, or a IK Multimedia iRig Stream... However, it's better to use a simple/small one like the all the already mentioned ones (instead of, for example, a MixVibes U-Mix44, or perhaps a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2). If it requires too much power, it may drain the phone/tablet battery sooner or may require an OTG adapter with another port to connect a powerbank/AC adapter at the same time. Also, with the Pioneer DJ DJM-S5 mixer and real vinyl it should work as well, connecting straight via USB to the phone/tablet. Perhaps newer DJ gear will be able to do the same. Bronxio
Hi, that's to make "weeping" effect if dragging the vinyl with the finger tip hitting those buttons. About the material, the owner replied to that question in another video, check it out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_C-4nhkePb8.html&lc=UgzmInB2fDMQd_5GXCp4AaABAg.A7JGGShHwlwA7KnqiQANIZ
@@Broken_Broker Rober uses it sometimes (I'm the one of this video and this is not my portable), you can check videos of him since this date on this channel (but it's something new, he's learning to incorporate it to his freestyle)
HI, excuse my low English. The body is made of rigid plastic, glass type, 6 mm. The 7mm steel balls are available in many sizes. I drew with the compass the circumference, cut and added, the bearings by drilling the plastic to embed a little in the plastic, sealed with resin and scratched.
Thanks and your English is pretty good but the why. Because I have seen a few turntables with them before and just have always wondered what it is used for on them and you put it on a portable which is pretty dope to see.
_[English below]_ Sí: el patinador que viene incluido es más fino que el borde exterior elevado del platillo 😅 no sirve en este portable. Hay que cambiarlo... ¿Os ha pasado a otros dueños de un Stanton STX? Yes: the included slipmat is thinner than the raised outer edge of the platter 😅 it is useless on this portable. It needs to be replaced... Has this happened to other owners of a Stanton STX?

There are several ways. Some people use Tablebeats (iOS only at the moment), but we use the app tablist.net. However, you can use the weblooper in the website (URL = name of the app), or mylooper.com, or loopercloud.com, etc. Use a phone or tablet, plug a minijack-minijack cable from it to the portable (or use bluetooth if the portable supports it) and _voilà_
On the USAverage outside Florida and latino hoods 👋 We don't have tacos to offer here... just sevillanas, flamenco and bulls yo Jk just fresh cuts (we don't know anything else)

I would say that the stab starts with closed fader and it's always fast (like a real stab). The forward can be done at any speed and it begins with open fader. And the stab can be classified as a "normal" scratch type (not a "brick" for complex ones like these ones). Cheers, Bronxio
I mastered scratching with this thing. went through three of them, the cord input is cheap. spinning 12" on this makes you push it forward just a tiny bit to keep the speed, when you do that day after day you develop an insane sense for how to move on a real table. I bought a pioneer plx-crss1200 after my last one broke.
