Oh Yeah I wish you folks played the Olympics is Paris. (You probably are glad you didn't. ) It would have been what I was tuned into to. Or turned into.
He sure likes big vibrato. He's a rather spazzy player isn't he? All flash and no smash. Like most blues players, same old regurgitated pentatonic shapes over and over. Nothing new to see here folks that hasn't already been done by a plethora of others. Zero originality. What distinguishes him from all the other guys in this genre 🤷🏼♂️
Hallo Heinz Glass! Laaaange ist's her... JVA Moabit - Gitarren Gruppe!
I've recently lost my Dad, who was a massive Northern soul fan. He used to go to Wigan Casino when he was only 13 years old. Throughout the years I used to sit and listen to Northern soul with my Dad and this was his favourite song. When we buried my Dad last month, we played this song whilst the coffin was being covered with soil. This song is my favourite soul song also.. A real classic still relatively unknown/unheard of by the masses 😊❤
Only a musical moron would say "blows away Clapton and Bonamassa." Walter is incredible; how does his awesomeness diminish the awesomeness of those two? Fuckin stupid thing to say.
I hope i get to see this outfit some day maybe some shows in the south west we love the blues down here you guys rock maybe in the spring next year guys i well travel some to see you
Robben's guitar has an acoustic tone(unusual for him) CARVIN SEMI-HOLLOW TELE STYLE, isn't it a beauty? Is this the guitar Robben used in the KFOG concerts at Yoshi's in the later 1990's (1996-7?) This more jazzy version of one of his favorite BB King songs, but in all honesty this version by Robben & his merry men, grooves better than any of this song on YT. When Roscoe plays the bass solo it has echos of Miles Davis' SKETCHES IN SPAIN. Just wish Robben lingered a little longer on his gorgeous solo, must have had a reason. What an amazing SYNERGY between these four!
