Impressive I always thought George Lucas should had given the Star Wars rights to a small company that loves Star Wars and Science Fiction. Make the content work for its money. . And not given Star Wars over to a behemoth like Disney. that mostly makes sub par movies and rehash’s of subject matter. That being stated I like the way the scenes of this short film build and gives us quite the action sequence , Good acting Obi Wan felt like Obi Wan and the humor and clever cues of the actors and drama was tight and beautiful cinematography and sound and great effects I’ll watch it again. "A Long time ago, In This Galaxy." The greatest secret, unknown to humans, is that the basic story, of Star Wars and the Empire Strikes Back, is that they are "Documentaries". How? The government, works very closely, with Hollywood, especially, when it comes to science fiction, films. ( They always have). The government ( secret operatives ) tells, executives, the truth of events, but will say, you can write on this particular item, but you must leave out other particulars. If the film executives, write what they will, their movie, will not, be a hit or make any money and the producers, are black listed in Hollywood. However, in the extreme rare cases, of the first three Star Wars films, ( including, Jedi ) ; the executive, was given cart blanche; to write, the films from 99% of the truth. In conjunction, to NASA, "The Tall Whites", ( interstellar beings), gave Hollywood, producers, true accounts, of the events, of this gallaxy, many millions of years ago. So, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, C-3PO, Yoda & Chewbacca, were real. Know this, on Mars, NASA ( Never, A Straight Answer ) found 10 thousand, robots that looked like, C-3PO. And in the Black Sea, there is an anomaly, that strangely, looks like the Millennium Falcon. Lastly, on the backside, of the Moon, lays a space ship that is three football fields long; within that ship was a female, interstellar being,( in suspended animation), that a secret, NASA, investigative probe found. Along with the female interstellar being, was a decapitated , being; in the cargo hold, were many other beings, in sleep chambers. Nice write. Some of these fan fictions should totally be considered if/when they open cannon for some reason-writes. The coolest one I read has to do with re-writing the corruption of Anakin Skywalker. In the story, he is put into a covert operative roll. He is working with the equivalent of the CIA as a special operator. The whole operation is much more realistic as his actions are coordinated with the official government (Palpatine), the military, and the Justice Dept only in this story, there is a quasi-religious element to the whole thing with the Jedi playing a roll in trying to identify and weed out the separatist elements rising within their society. Palpatine (and a small few others) put him into operation disguised as an ancient knight of the Sith to conceal his identity and offer political protection. It backfires as he becomes intoxicated by the power and freedom his anonymity gives him. He becomes more and more violent resulting in him becoming battle scarred and losing limbs and such eventually leading him to becoming entombed in his disguise which becomes more and more necessary as a prosthesis and life support system as the result of his injuries which become more and more severe as the story progresses.
How they chose Alden Ehrenreich over Jamie Costa to play Han in Solo: A Star Wars Story, is beyond me. They totally dropped the ball, but they could make it up to the fans with a TV series with Jamie as Han. That would be great!
Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other; I've seen a lot of strange stuff. But I've never seen anything to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Fourth controlling everything. There's no mystical energy field that controls my destiny!
