Heyy, just a q. Do you recommend any channel that actually did the previous math exams from the previous years, so that I can actually learn how to do the qs?
I wish I had had this mindset from the beginning. I just didn't knew what I wanted to really do with my life. My year before starting the ib was really bad for my mental health and therefore I spent all my first year trying to "fix" myself, which ended up messing even more with me. That meant I spent a whole year and a half wasting my time and feeling like I was a waste of space. Eventually, I was able to seek help and to strengthen my mindset for the last straight of the year. Still, I was never consistent enough with my study or work because I didn't have the correct training for doing that, as I had never studied or worked during my school life. So, there I was, less than a month before the exams started and still had left most of my internal assessments. I managed to pull it off just a week before the exams started, and the IA turned out pretty good actually! The days I had left before starting, I fully focused on physics HL since that was my first exams. Still through my exams, I finish this May 15th, and I'm trully considering presenting myself for the November exams, even though I will probably get a score between 35 and 37, because I know I could have given much more. If you are curious, my subjects are: HL: physics, maths aa, English b and Spanish language and literature. SL: chemistry and environmental systems and societies. My extended essay subject was English. Do you have any advice for my situation right now? I would be so grateful if you could give me some.
I'm in a similar situation I wish I could have been more consistent but I was burnt out by DP2. I just did my math aa HL exam and it was so hard I genuinely think I failed lmao. My advice is just try your best and if u fail u can always retake in November <33
@@Nour05007 for now I think I'm doing great in the exams for my situation. I had a hard time with physics and maths, but I'm getting a 5/7 no doubt. So I am pretty confident right now. You are right the math p1 was a bit hard but I'm sure you'll get great marks. Either way, you can make up for the p1 and the p2 this monday in the p3. I'm sure it will be full of integrals or vectors. Good luck with the ongoing exams!
international baccalaureate diploma programme: assessment is based on six subjects at different levels, extracurricular components (CAS), and an two essay components (one philosophy 'TOK' essay + one 4000 word research paper on one of your subjects)
less than 2 weeks before my first exam and i'm so unprepared pray for me 💀🙏 (my subjects are english a hl, business management hl, global politics hl, ess sl, french b sl, math aa sl)
How do you maintain that unstoppable mindset tho? I’ll start studying and then talk my self out of it 1 session in. Not related but u have a rlly nice voice
lol thank u, i think it's also really important to have a routine & genuinely be hard on yourself when you slip and don't study. at the end of the day i would always remind myself how important these exams are and it sort of naturally motivated to me to drill every single day. having friends who do the same really helps
