The way Fury insulted Usyk and his team at the weigh in was utterly disgusting. The big bully was actually SCARED of losing his first fight. I was overjoyed that usyk won and I am British and there were hundreds of thousands of us rooting for Usyk to win.
Fury should fight Joshua next. If...he can beat Joshua, then rematch Usyk. I don't hear anyone mention that Usyk changed his style for the fight against Fury. I believe his normal style could beat Fury. But, I think he changed it up because he knew that Fury would be training for his normal style. His normal style has more side-to-side footwork and more flowing. Fury will have to train for the Usyk that fought against him...AND...the style Usyk used to beat Fury. I believe that Usyk will win by a wider margin in a rematch. Another thing I'm tired of hearing is people blaming Fury's loss on "declining skills" or "aging." No. They are obviously not Familiar with Usyk. It seems most of these commentators are not familiar with Usyk. It's less of age and declining skills, and more of Usyk being (that) good. And anyone who thinks that Fury won those early rounds....go back and rewatch. Rewatch slowing the speed down. Fury's punches were not landing. Usyk punches were landing more clean. Fury was backing up about 97% of the fight. He never moved forward. Usyk was constantly moving forward. Something else I like Fury to do..is walk back and apologize for his comment regarding the judge's sympathy scoring. If he does not address this, especially after him rewatching the fight, then he'll have this on his conscience and it will not allow him to move forward.

It is just as well that Peter Fury formulates the game plans of his own fighters. No one is really heeding the common sense and logical advice that he gives. I am just a boxing fan. I am just a novice, mush less an expert. Yet I was appreciative of the fact that he had the foresight to state that certain things had to happen for a T. Fury victory or a "train wreck would occur". What he said was not "rocket science" but it did require thought. I do not understand how anyone can think Usyk could be knocked out in 7 rounds unless his opponent lands a lucky punch in his mid-section? The man lives in crude barracks in remote "ice villages" months before fights. He is so mentally tough because of this. He could be knocked down repeatedly, take a bashing, and yet he would still only get more tenacious and determined as the fight goes on. I wonder what Tyson's accommodations were. There is no doubt he too is mentally tough. After all look how recovered after the 9th round. However there is a difference between trained mental toughness and natural instinctive mental toughness. One can be coached and one cannot. Again If I remember correctly, Peter F. said something very similar to that as he stated that a fighter needs both to win a difficult fight. It was Usyk's preparation that got him to go all out and all in. He was trained to get going when he was getting hammered. I wonder what mental toughness training Tyson received in camp. Did he live in such austere conditions as Usyk? It is hard to say but I think I have my answer.
Fury will come in heavy for the next fight, will gas out and get stopped earlier. Fury won 3 maybe 4 rounds. He's a boxing expert according to him, watch it again and again and you will see. If your to arrogent to admit you were outboxed then you no nothing.
