hello may i ask if my lvl 170 zero weapon that has no absolab essence upgrade can still be upgraded to legendary potential? ive used 300 glowing cubes on it and its still stuck at unique :(
Yes, the potential is different from the lucky scroll and essence. - Scrolling provides the weapon with the set effect. - Essence provides the weapon with the level. Hope this helps! :D
I love Zero but just don't get why they never get to be in hyperburning events. as a returning player its really hard to progress as a Zero main. any tips?
Sorry for the late reply. I sympathize with this a lot. I am not sure how far you are on your Zero, but honestly, just finish the story line as soon as you can. You get a lot of passive damage from it. Also, try to 22* your weapon as 22* is available for your weapon. No need to safeguard since you get a free replacement each time it booms. Post 5th job, Zero starts becoming a little easier and more flexible in playstyles. Is there anything specifically that you are struggling with as a Zero main? I can try to nail down a few pointers probably from there.
Haha, Zeros only go up to T5 flames for weapon unlike normal classes going up to T7. The flame I had on this weapon was a T4/T3 = T6/T5 equivalent for your normal weapon. Atm Im running a T5/T4 flame which is your T7/T6 equivalent. I wish we had a flame buff on the weapon but to be fair, all of Zeros flames except W.atk gets doubled. lol
To be quite frank, I havent had any problems with ping-related stuff on Zero and I combo just fine. But also I dont play on high ping so I can't really say. I also play Kanna (which is pretty ping reliant for weaving) and I also dont have problems with that. So, it might just be me. >.< I'd like to say no. But I could be wrong. :O
hi Deguris~ Is zero a t1 class now? It looks like he's getting pretty good buffs with every update, and there will be skills mastery3 and 4 in the future. New origin skills.
Hi Jason! As much as I would like Zero to be a top tier class, it is still not quite there just yet. While we might be seeing a lot of good buffs so far, I can't exactly judge Zeros on a future that could go both ways for us and other classes. If I were to just give a rating solely on what we have been getting in terms of buffs up to the 2nd mastery, we are definitely just mid tier or slightly above mid tier. IMO, for a class to be top tier, it has to be very well-rounded in multiple situations, or excel in a particular role which a party can't live without, and are applicable to the currently evolving meta. Therefore, I have 2 different ratings I would give Zeros as of this moment: 1. Party Play - High B or Low A tier. (7 out of 10 stars, "We might have space in the party/ I'll get back to you in a bit.") Support/ Utilities - We do have the title and crown of being the king/queen of binding at this moment. Kannas don't even compare to what we are capable of in that aspect since we can crit bind and reset shadow rain for extra stuns/binds. However, bosses like Kaling and Black Mage (excluding P1), aren't bind-able/stun-able, therefore rendering us as an obsolete support in those situations. We also do not know if future bosses will be able to be binded/ crit binded/ stunned. Another thing to note, even though Kannas and other supports don't have a better bind than us, they do have other Final Damage buffs which we lack as a support. We have 50% IED Debuff and a 25% Damage/BD Barrier, but are pretty negligible (for now until the IED on future bosses get ridiculously high maybe) compared to other supports that provide 15-25%+ FD buffs minimum to the party. Damage - In terms of damage, we have pretty good DPM for a lot of boss fights that are carried out for longer durations, or if needed to chip down CKalos HP, and we also have a stronger burst now after Dreamer/ Go-West update. However, given that a lot of current end-game parties (XSeren, NKalos/CKalos, NKaling/HKaling, and XBM mostly) focus heavily on bind/burst, there are just a lot of other support classes that have good damage and provide more useful/ well-rounded buffs and excel for this burst-heavy meta which we have to compete against. Also, since most parties are 3minute burst parties, and we are a 2minute class, we actually lose a lot of our overall damage on a full rotation/ DPM BA since we have to delay our bursts by 50%. 2. Solo Play - Low to Mid A tier. (8.5 out of 10 stars, "I can pretty much breeze through my bosses with ease, but not extremely fast") Support/ Utilities - While the above statements may seem underwhelming for party play, our kit provides us with having an easier time surviving and maneuvering in a lot of the solo-able content, where other classes may not have our utilities/ mobility to live in many situations. Those same crit binds that parties can benefit from us, other classes do not have. We also have a 15 second I-frame every 3 minutes and our Twin Blades of Time is a 5 second I-frame while holding it down during our burst. Damage - Since we are a 2 minute class, with pretty high DPM, we benefit a lot in 2 minute parties or in solo-play. We can run through a lot of bosses pretty quickly and don't have to wait as long as 3 minute classes for our bursts to come up. We also don't hit like soggy noodles while out of burst as some classes might as they wait for their 3 minute burst to come back up. However, we are still not hitting like a truck as other 2 minute classes like Heros, Demon Slayers, and Kaisers that excel in the high DPM area in solo-play as well. Overall, there are just a lot of better picks for support FD buff stacking, and even more high DMG burst classes, that picking a Zero becomes very situational/niche and require the Zero to still have a lot of damage to get into parties. Hope this helps! Haha~ :)
@@ZeroDeguris I am a hero main for now.But after understanding your opinion, I have chosen zero as the new main role, and now there is hyper burning, lets go zero gang!
Haha, just comparing the origin burst to other classes for perspective. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely strong! Just not as strong as like Ark, WH and a handful of other classes. Thank you though! :D
Ouu, I started Nkalos when I was doing roughly 20T-22T No Origin, Sac Applied, and back before 6th job was released. I got lucky at the time cuz I swapped my Kanna out of my Nkalos party with my Zero when Kanna's got that Domain nerf. Now that 6th job is out, with our current hexa and origin, it should be easier to reach those numbers. Haha!
hi im a new maplestory player and was thinking on maining kaiser or zero. i like bursting and was curious to know ur thoughts on what is better. thank u and great video btw i love zero
Haha, thank you! <3 Overall, I feel that Zeros have better utilities, survivability, and a slightly better "burst" than Kaisers. Kaisers have overall higher DPM output if I recall correctly. So, definitely go for Zero! Hehe~ XD
Thank you Clark! It was a wonderful pleasure to run with everyone! I am so grateful that the party was willing to take me in and keep me for the whole duration from beginning to end of my CKalos journey! Perhaps, we'll get to run other bosses together in the future~ <3 I will be rooting from the sideline as you guys clear CKalos with my fellow Zero substitute! <3
I am currently running: - 20% Cooldown Skip - 8% Boss Damage - 8% Abnormal Damage I am probably going to convert the Abnormal Damage to Buff Duration soon and test that out :)
Do you think we need more damage or a buff to our supporting capabilities like buffing beta's armor shred? I do prefer to be considered weak because the likelihood of getting nerfed is small 😂
I think we absolutely need either a huge damage buff still or increase our supporting capabilities. Where we stand now after the GO West/ Dreamer Part 1 patch, we got a good dmg buff already, but nothing too crazy. I think it would be nice to enhance our crit bind/stun capabilities. Afterall, we are king/queen of binding, yet we get robbed of that title in bosses like Kaling and Black Mage where the boss is mostly not bindable.
If I did my calculations correctly, we are looking at 15-20% FD gain in our 40s Kalos Non-origin and Origin BAs. In a Kaling 6mins BA, I estimated about 20-25% FD gain. When we get the 2nd mastery (A3/B3 hexa mastery), I believe we will be doing a slightly different *prayer burst* combo to min/max damage. Prayer combo is just A424/ B434. However, our current commonly used combo still works in most situations as we currently use A424/ B3432. After the 2nd mastery, we might just change *prayer burst* A424 -> A434 and B434 -> B3432. Overall, pretty strong buff and comboing may or may not change that much. :)
It's always going to depend on the boss and whether you are in party or solo play. Majority of the time, solo bossing you can keep a cont4/cont5 on. But when in party bossing, you are most likely going to use a RoR4/RoR5 due to the nature of 3min burst timings. Regarding off burst/dpm, it is pretty strong atm; Not the top, just somewhere in the middle. We are definitely closer to top of the middle once we get the buffs in Dreamer patch. According to my calculations, we are going to gain roughly 15-20% FD in a 40s burst, and 20-25% FD in a 6min full rotation. Hope this helps! :)
I do use Attack Speed abilities, but those same abilities are affected by Cooldown Skip. Therefore, I choose to use CD Skip IA for more utilities. Either works, but keep in mind that AS IA is useless while you have Chrono Break or Time Distortion active as both of them provide +2 and +1 AS respectively. Hope this helps!
@@Alixei947 Ahaha, yes as @terryturtlespirit has mentioned, I do have it locked so that I can control when I want to bind. Another thing to mention is that if you right-click chrono break, not only does it automatically bind on the 2nd cast, but if you hold down arrow + activated chrono break, then you can activate the bind on the first cast. So this helps with being more flexible and fluid in terms of play styles and bind times during boss fights.
We are gaining between 15-25% FD. According to my own math, we gain around 14.84%-20%FD in a 40s Kalos BA and 20-25% FD in a 6min Kaling BA. Pretty juicy buff. :) Definitely go for the hyper burn on Zero! It's been getting a lot more love and attention recently with more buffs just about every patch!
Hey! It’s very hard to find zero content. You are like the “Shapaz” of Zeroes, so we need you to post more! I am probably going to burn one because the class aesthetic is amazing and the binds look so fun. Looking forward to more content from you and congrats on the huge cube sale gains!
Thanks man! Appreciate your support! I am definitely one lucky Zero and I absolutely love this class! I will be doing my best keep coming out with more Zero content. Feel free to ask away anything or suggest some things that you'd like me to cover as well! :) Hope you will enjoy your Zero!
Ahaha, I appreciate the feedback! I kept track of the list of completed items on the left side of the VOD, but I can probably make a quick video for the before and after soon! :)
Definitely depends on the situation. Generally, burst heavy party bossing like Kalos you would want to use RoR4. In solo bossing and longer boss fights that aren't as burst heavy you can use a Cont4. :)
Are you able to give a review of what zero is like endgame/late game? I’m really loving zero but I’m curious on what it’s like working with a party (in terms of planning binds) and how high zero can go
Absolutely! I may start working on a video to review Zero gameplay in late to end-game content very soon. But the short answer is that Zeros are quite a niche choice as a support and planning binds really is not as bad as some people think. I just think of it as an extended and more flexible kanna bind. Ahah! In terms of how high Zeros can go (Im assuming you are talking about damage), our burst is kind of mid but our DPS is a little better than mid for now. After Dreamer patch, we may see a pretty strong increase in both departments. :D Hope this helps! Feel free to ask anything else and I hope you will continue to find Zeros as a fun class to progress on!
Thank you! Don't worry, Rhinne shall bless you as well soon! Our goddess loves her children equally. I threw over 1000+ eternal and black flames before this event. >~< Just keep going and it shall hit when you least expect it! 😁
LOL I might try T5 attack with T4/T5 boss/dmg in the future when my other gears have better flames. Atm, with T5 Atk and T4 All Stats, its gonna be super unlikely to beat this or see another T5/T4 combination. But worry not, I SHALL ATTEMPT THAT! 😁❤️
Zero's flame is counted twice for Stats, Boss Damage, Damage, and All stats. It counts only once for Attack. Thus, it's technically yes and no depending on thr stats you roll. XD Hope this helps!
