That was a neighborhood's dead end where I wanted to turn around. Saw a puddle and thought to go in between puddle and close to the curb. But didn't notice gravel and small stones exactly at that spot. Started turning and - it happy really quickly - bike falls on the side. I'm like DAMN! IT HAPPENED! - stood up, lifted the bike and tried to move it. It took few seconds to realize that bike was still in gear. Shifted to neutral and saw bended side crash bar. Inspected the bike and everything seemed fine, beside bended crash bar, which still allowed me to shift gears.
So, in summary, the cold could have made them 'crispy' and that is a compounding reason to always repack/fluff the PC just before jumping. Is there anything else to learn?
Hey aleksander, you seriously still dont know what caused this? old or new PCs doesn't matter in this case, both guys did a really fucking bad throw, and the bridle wraps partially around the PC. luckily the bridle slipped off to the side and didn't choke the PC completely off. practice pitch technique! I know this was many years ago now, but I hope know this now and teach your students how to throw, cheers :)
