the china child labour jokes are hilarious yet so important. it's great that he's shedding light on how messed up that is! also literally nobody's offended, who are these guys fighting with in the comment section? my family? because they aren't visible either
Thing is the problem with these 'offensive' jokes is that a lot of them aren't offensive they're just true. I mean are we saying children are not making iphones in Chinese sweat shops?
Superb jokes swaps and the reactions from both of them knowing how messed up some jokes are, are priceless. i wish i could understand all the terms and situations being used and refered as, cus i can't get over it and want for more laughter even i get sick, i would gladly go for it!!!!!
If he has to tell the audience it’s not real it’s not a good joke. This era of SNL is trash. Norm Macdonald was highly offensive but he did it skillfully so you knew it was sarcasm, by way of contrast too ……this.
Man, weekend update continues to be the best SNL segment to this day. These two know they are pushing boundaries in respect to our current culture and they’ve shown they’re aware of it numerous times (ie Collin Jost telling Che that he’s going to get him murdered). Che saying it’s not real is literally just his knee-jerk reaction to the crowds response which he finds funny (them reacting as though it is real). It’s not a qualifying statement he makes after the joke so people don’t get offended, it’s just a reaction to the response he’s getting from the crowd (ie the crowd going “Awww” when he makes the joke that the mountain lion ate the dog). Quit acting this way and just enjoy the content (for that matter why are you hate watching a comedy sketch?) These types of comments ironically make you look soft or as if you are just looking for something to complain about. No better than the left in that regard
