Team XLR8 is the culmination of a 30 years journey from a young kid hanging at the local pool room learning the ropes from the old timers to now a 24/7 venture to provide the best in billiards equipment / maintenance / repair / instruction for the beginner shooter!
In November of 2019 when founded DFE Billiards, the plan was to provide cue repair and maintenance to the small rural communities of south western Pennsylvania and north central West Virginia. I purchased a new basic lathe to Do tips, ferrules, and repairs locally for my league buddies and anyone who needed. Fast forward to March, I got the idea to try and build myself a carbon fiber pool cue shaft. Little did I know how it would change my life forever.
