This laboratory creates gardens for Japanese gardens, manages old gardens (shrines and temples, etc.), makes tea rooms for outdoor use, cuts trees, prunes (including the disposal of fallen trees and disaster recovery), etc. We also provide technical guidance and lectures on old-style construction methods. We hope to provide a wide range of technical information, which has never been disclosed in detail, to Japanese garden enthusiasts and people in the same business. Of course, we also offer consultations on Japanese gardens regardless of individual corporations.
A massive thanks to you, it took me a couple of times viewing your vid to get the technique.. (to expand abit more i was trying to lash bamboo with hay twine and indestructible fibre used for bailing etc.. but slippery as, and unforgiving.. your knot was brilliant !! much cheers & thanks for posting that, cheers Jon !
What does kakui mean? I tried to research it but couldn't find any info. I also asked my Japanese wife and she couldn't find any info either. Thank you!
*Thank you for your comment. You mentioned the term "kakkui" in the video, which means that when you cut back a branch, it dies because you left the branch in the middle. I had been strictly instructed by my seniors in the provinces not to leave any "kakkui".
So far, the color has faded, but I don't see anything particularly rotten. In some circumstances, however, this may be the case, so daily observation and management are important.
In the video, there was an industry term "kakui", which means that when you cut back a branch, the branch is cut off in the middle and becomes withered. I was strictly instructed by my seniors in the countryside not to leave behind any kakui. @Less Talk, More Delicious I accidentally deleted the comment. I'm sorry. Thank you for your review and comments. Regarding your inquiry, Depending on the gardening environment (surrounding environment, land area, height, etc.) I think a crane truck is necessary to put a stone in the place. There is a method that can be done manually, such as lifting with a chain block after being carried to the land. However, even though the garden stones used in the video are small, they still weigh about 1 ton, so it is quite difficult. You can find information on how to assemble stones using chain blocks on our website. Please refer to the following link. I'm sorry I didn't give you a clear answer. Thanks for the reply and also for the links to your website with using chain-blocks! It’s perfect! Those links/website-page have very beautiful, big, tall stones in them! I like it a lot! How much do those particular stones in the links/website weigh on average? 教えてくれてありがとうございます!🙏
@@nippon-teien thanks again! They sound very heavy! 😮 I only have 2-3’ long stones in my garden. 😅 But, they were still very heavy and difficult for me to install. 🥵
This time the content is maniac. I think it is a familiar landscape for landscape gardeners, but for other Japanese garden lovers, the process to make a Japanese garden may be rare. The subtitling will be uploaded after tomorrow. → 8.31 Automatic translations for Japanese, English, German, Spanish, Thai, Chinese (Traditional) and Korean.
