Writers didn't wanted to give serena the perfect ending that's why serena and nate didn't end up together, I don't see any reason why they shouldn't have been the endgame they were perfect for each other, they loved and cared deeply for each other and they were the real version of themselves when they were together. I assume that blair and chuck got married and then 5 years later serena and nate got married and dan was off somewhere writing his betrayal books , the way dan treated serena for last 2 seasons he did not deserved serena at all. I justed hated dan even more till the end of the show.
Nate literally admired Serena’s light so much and appreciated her. You can see he’s just constantly enamored by her smile and energy. Dan called her shallow in his book, why does no one talk about that? Imagine you have the love of your life who should know you very well and then in the most important book of their life, that’s all they have to say about you. If that was me, I’d feel broken. Dan really didn’t appreciate Serena as a person, I think he just idealized her. Nate actually loved Serena’s wit, mind, bubbly personality and actually accepted her and never put her down, and just uplifted her. I think she wanted Dan for comfort. But Nate was the better man look how much she smiles and laughs with Nate vs Dan. We should all be with the person who brings the most happiness to our life. They were golden retriever x golden retriever which is soo freaking cute
I swear, how can writers have this chemistry and this story and still manage to screw it up? For me, they will always me an endgame, THE ENDGAME. And Dan can go to prison for all I care, just out of everyone’s life

They should have been endgame!!! They have always had a connection even when they were fake dating. Serena was always her true self around him and no matter what they could always talk to each other. Everything about them made so much sense and was so natural. How I see it is that theu 1. Get married instead of Dan and Serena and have kids(their kids would be so gorgeous) or 2. Dan and Serena get divorced because she realizes Nate is the one and always has been the one and marries him and has kids Also Dan was just a creep like you created a whole website because u liked a girl and continued to spread rumors about her, her family and friends and your own family And marrying you ex step brother is so weird.
