Help is a Queensland-based social enterprise helping people with disability lead fulfilling and independent lives.
Over the past 50+ years, we’ve created an integrated network of services to provide people with disability the essentials, routine, and stretch they seek in life.
Whether it’s employment, learning, living arrangements, community involvement, or anything else in between - we work alongside people to help them achieve the things they set out to.
We do this with the help of our social enterprise businesses, organisational partnerships, and DES and NDIS service streams.
We like to think of it as an ecosystem of opportunity.
My son has worked here for over 20 years. His involvement with this organisation has helped improve his demeanour and attitude and made him a more complete person. This company is a great organisation and a positive influence for people with disabilities. The people who run and manage Help are to be congratulated and admired for their successes in helping their workers achieve to make a useful contribution to our society and for themselves.
Is there a program like this in Va? Im a si gle mother with 3 children and i and my oldest 2 children are disabled. We need help with housing and have been unsuccessful in finding affordable housing.

You may want to check your states website to see what services are available for people with disabilities in your area, it may be under health and human services or social services. I live in Connecticut, so that's how I found out about some of the disability services in my state.
