Please just don't bother with this any more. There is absolutely no drop down button and the delayed emails won't send unless you open your laptop on the scheduled time because the outbox folder also now missing. You will have zero clue whether your email is sent or not
0:15 for anyone that DOESN’T have the “Options” tab like he’s showing here, you have to click the popout option of the email you’re trying to send them you’ll have this tab. I have no idea who at Microsoft thought that was a good idea but it took way too long to figure that out. Also I didn’t listen to this with audio because I’m at work so if he said it in the video then disregard my comment.
Yammer Viva CEO just chose sides in the war in Europe choosing Putin and blaming America for irritating Russia. I guess being CEO he holds a special place for tyrants in his heart.
Very useful this and video it’s no so long where it’s just wasting time and waffling . it’s short and shows you very thing you need to know thank you very much 👍👍
Here is what I think "ransomware" means - A new version of what computer experts know as "malware." Malicious software, that is, that can toast your computer into uselessness. Ransomware is using cyber-terrorism to hold hostage the victim's computer files (usually every file the victim's computer has) by flash-encrypting all of them, and threatening the victim with permanent file deletion or permanent file encryption unless the victim pays the ransom to the hacker.
Thanks for writing this. I thought the app used to be designed so that if you pressed and held the blue send arrow, a schedule option would pop up. When that didn't occur, I was very confused and thought the schedule feature had been removed.
What is the sodding point of 'delayed delivery' if it shows the original time you sent it rather than the scheduled time? What is the actual point of this function?
Hey 👋 since recording this demo the emails now show the time sent rather than time scheduled. We've made an updated demo video here (which also includes scheduling in new Outlook): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-az_ddh7hKJU.htmlsi=n3MAz2biwFoPoVgn
how to delete the submitted updates tho? tested the app and I can't find anything to delete my test submission, they only have disable but it will still show up on your list. either I couldn't find it or they really missing such a simple and common feature🤦♂
Question.... My team has access to my calendar as they need to add and remove meetings. Whenever I (or anyone on my team) schedules a meeting for me, everyone on the team receives an invite, even though they were not listed as participants. Do you know why this is and how can we stop this from happening? I would send you 10 gold stars if you can solve this issue for us. :)
Any idea how at the end of the day, some people in my team display as away until the very next day and some display as offline? Surely it's not that they leave their PC turned on, is it?
@@TheThirdWorldCitizen That makes sense, you won't see me doing that, given that it's a massive risk especially in our area to be using our personal phones for work teams, where we share info. But that goes to show how those dumb courses that we get every year aren't so dumb and are quite necessary.
@@tafferchuck1349 indeed the courses and least give some idea of how to be careful. Also the organization might have preventative measures in place for using teams or outlook in a personal phone, like requiring some sort of vpn and firewall apps. Quite a rabbit hole when it comes to security!
Then there is no point of Scheduling if its still going to show the time i scheduled it, might as well wait till the morning to send. Gmail is much better because you can customised this.
If you have the plugin installed, head to your Online inbox and you can search using the search bar at the top. There are great filtering options too! Hope this helps.
Get it together Microsoft! The whole point of scheduling an email is 1. The recipient receives at a specified date & time. 2. You do not have to be logged/singed into email. We can't do either so "delayed delivery" is essentially useless.
