Join me for lots of bento fun! I pack a bento-style lunch for my two boys every week day. After making over 2000 bento lunches and snacks, I've got this lunch-packing thing down pat and now I'm coming to RU-vid to share my hints and tips with you!
I have one of those at work in my machine shop. I have used it multiple times at work for a couple of years now. Works great. My technique varies a bit from yours but it all gets you there in the end. Definitely a cheap gadget that actually works pretty well.
Thanks for the instructions, just picked one up for a mere 5 bucks from someone that bought it on impulse, used it once and decided to cut his losses. Brand new, not a scratch. But no manual, so without your video I couldn't have figured it out. Kids love this and my 12 yo wants to cook it by himself before school. This truly is delicious and this coming from someone that has been enjoying egg McMuffins for decades. Of course, I used my own home smoked back bacon (Canadian bacon for those in the US) so this certainly helped. Great invention.
Would I be able to heat the water up in the microwave wave for about 3-5 minutes and put it in the thermos and still expect it to be warm by around 11:20am?
I have the same model and I buy the pre cut round sausage pattys and cook them first on the bottom plate and then remove them prior to putting the buns and egg on and it works great!
Instead of a bag, you can tie the Rover up in a traditional wrap cloth. You can look up RU-vid instructions on how to wrap something and you can even make a handle out of the cloth ends
My 4th grader told me it was hard for her classmate to open hot food container. Multiple students give it a try and then they asked the teacher. It was not easy for the teacher either.
Hey! I just got 2 Stephen Joseph lunch pals without thinking about their size because they were so damn cute. But the kids loved them more than I did and won’t let me return it. Will the panino fit in it ?
I actually use store bought croissants and shape them with a cookie cutter. Put that on the bottom, then bacon, cheese, and mix egg with salt and pepper, and add it, then cook 4 minutes and add top croissant and cook one additional minute. Could also use pre made pancakes for McGriddles
There isn't anything else on the market that keeps food hot/cold and fits everything else. For someone with a kid who doesn't like to eat hot foods cold, that extra step is a very small price to pay to make sure he has the lunch he wants. I think it's a fantastic product!
This is the first version of the OmieBox that came out several years ago. On the newer version the silicone seal has moved from the lid to the main part of the lunch box.
Do you like this original design? Omie is having a sale on this first Omie design and wondering if I should save money in this older design or if it’s worth getting the newer one
@@ASMRXAME I haven't tried he new version, so I can't compare, but my understanding is that it solves a lot of the issues I had with the original version. That being said, I have used the original for years and liked it fine.
Sometimes parents miss the mark on Christmas gifts, but one could argue that having someone make you breakfast sandwiches a few times a week is even better than doing it yourself…
@@wendoloniavideos Honestly I can't judge the "goodness" of a Christmas gift based on my experiences. If your son loved it, I'm impressed by his selflessness and happy that it works for your family's flow.
