Thank you for this amazing video...please i have a question and i need guidance...i am saving for my Canadia study process (self sponsor) and because Naira keeps loosing value every single day,i have been buying USD and saving in my domiciliary account so that the value stays intact...when the funds are sufficient in USD,can i use the domiciliary account to show proof of funds and probably also show my naira account statements to show inflow and outflow?please i need your thoughts on this because i cant save in naira,it looses value everyday
What if the 20635 was divided into two. Instead of entering the whole amount, part of it was entered at room and board and the other category. But both sum up to 20635.Should a correction be made via webform. Thanks for your answer
I don’t think there will be a need for a correction. I believe even after what you write ,they personally still do calculations of your tuition and their quotation of living expenses to ascertain that you have the funds for studying in Canada so I don’t think that will be a problem.
@EmmanuellaNti Thank you.... Please e will really appreciate it if you can share some pros and cons of living in Maitoba with us in a video 😊 and also the cost of living in Manitoba currently
I have one question, Ella. I wanna know if you included ielts or letter from your school proving that your medium of instruction was in English in your visa application. Thank you.
No please. I did not include that .. In general, Ghana is exempted from countries that have to show proof of english language proficiency and so since that requirement / condition was not part of my letter of admission, I didn’t add it to my visa application. I hope this answer helps
@@alainkalenga-pe5ek I have a video on how I got full scholarships to the US and Canada so kindly look at that please….In that video, I explained how I went about my applications*
Full time during the summer is usually after two semesters of study. So I believe having the resources to pay for the first 2 semesters and working towards paying the next year of study by working during the summer is another way to go but currently most masters and PhD students get registered in the summer either for research or just masters re-registration and universities like University of Manitoba says categorically that masters and PhD students do not have a scheduled break so they aren’t allowed to work full time during the summer so that summer full-time opportunity is becoming subjective to the university you attend. This rule does not affect undergraduate students though. Therefore that is another way of paying one’s fees. Thank you for your comment.
@@ademolababatola5428 the processing time for study permit can take a while . It is advisable to apply 4 months or more before the start of your program. You could try if all documents are ready and you will be able to submit it as soon as possible. It can either be delayed or could come just in time before the start of your program. All the best 🙏🏼
I was automatically considered by the department and the university so I didn’t have to apply. Some schools also have entrance scholarships and bursaries that one can be automatically eligible for.
Tuition is your tuition fees per your school’s tuition rates. Room and board is your accommodation and food and all other things that pertain to your living expenses so at that portion, kindly place the IRCC required living expenses for a year which is $20,636. You can leave the “other” option blank. Funds available for your stay is the closing balance of the bank statement you are presenting to them. If you have a full scholarship, then you state the amount on the scholarship letter and at the section where you are asked ‘’my expenses in canada will be paid by:’ you select other and write the name of the scholarship agency or your university if the scholarship is coming from the university. If you are funding yourself, you choose yourself …if it is your parents , you choose parents.
@@EmmanuellaNti I want a rough estimation ,example, how much to write ✍️ if your tuition is $15,000 & you have paid $10,000. Should you write the $ 5,000 remaining or the total of 2 years program ? -How much should you write ✍️ on “ room & board “ ,& “others “ ? -funds for your stay “ $20,635 .new requirements for living expenses ? I will appreciate your time 🤝🤗

Hi Emmanuella. I applied for a masters in french at the same school. University of manitoba. Its been close to over 2 months since i applied for January 2025 intake without a decision and im really anxious. I was also told i didnt need to apply for scholarships as im automatically considered but im still looking to apply for any external funding
@@EmmanuellaNti can you link your explanation on *why you chose this program* to the fact that you had a degree in the masters program you are about pursuing?
@@harrietagyeiwaaoduro1761 ohh yea you can … you can actually say you had a bachelors degree in that program and you believe it is time to pursue further studies in the same program in order to pursue your long term goal of being …… since that is a major requirement for the profession. Thank you 🙏🏼
@@nishasaini835 ohh okay That’s great … I don’t think I will call any school a bad school…just that the public schools are much known by these visa officers making it easier for them to confirm the facts
