Beautiful! I'm currently working on this after learning the following prelude in D minor. Mainl focussing on the D Major prelude. This is a true virtuoso piece, Very difficult. Like so much of Bach's music by the time you can actually play, the audience barely has any idea how complicated this prelude is to play with the 'elan' and virtuosity that you did. I'm still going at it at a rediculous slow tempo, in small sections. Hearing and watching your masterful rendition offers a worthy a goal to achieve. Thank you.
What an inspiring performance! Like I was inspired by Richard Goode when he played Beethoven's no. 30 in 2002 in Buffalo. This sonata, no. 28 is his favourite. When I told him about the hand injury that was in its early stage, he told me to be "very careful" about it. Unfortunately I wasn't careful, playing strenuous pieces and then playing the flute after piano practice. Eventually I had difficulty signing my name, because it was so difficult to hold the pen in my hand. After 16 years away from music, I am now three years at it again. I need to hear pianists like you to inspire me to continue playing the piano in spite of all the obstacles I have faced in my 72 years of life. Thank you for inspiring me.
Your performance inspires me. At age 72, I am 3 years returned to piano playing. You have captured the spirit of Brahms. I am motivated to continue playing Brahms, Beethoven and Mozart even at my age.
Dear Rina, SO WONDERFUL AS ALWAYS!!!!! Thank you for one of my favourite composers and for an excellent performance, congratulations to both artists, again my best wishes from Poland to Japan, have a nice weekend, Joanna.
