These comments yeesh don’t ever let anyone say the mtb community doesn’t have its elitist snobs lol you seem to be enjoying yourself no other explanation necessary bud we can’t all be Phil’s keep at it
@@SayYEWWwithBen 100% bro I’m 45 and am just getting back into mountain biking after 20 years, I’m super out of shape and came specifically looking for non-pros doing the trails around here (I’m in Kamloops). I’ve seen Remy do the juniper bike ranch but I’m far from that skill level. Yeww!
Hey Bro, i am a manly dam local and have been trying to find these trails forever. Where exactly are they? I only know there North of the XC trails. Would you pleeeeease be willing to share the location, i promise i wont tell anyone else. Have a great day
@@gmaster716 it was certainly frustrating having a broken finger for this trip. Riding without grip strength gives no confidence. But at least I had Snowy in front of the camera to show how it should be done!
You are a regular rider making mediocre jump trails look big. All you need to do is use a little bit more momentum and a little pop and they are all doable and yes, you’re riding those trails at the wrong time of the year where they are all pounded out. Wrangler is in a Cooley so there is no wind.
@@seanedzerza9829 thanks for the comments, I definitely struggled having just 1 day there to experience these trails - plus having a broken finger made committing and popping a real challenge. Hope to get back one day and give it a proper go.
Yeh nice - I had this cruise planned, but the Jamboree was rescheduled for this day and I gave my boys the option.. Rx8 cruise or Jamboree. Jamboree won out - which was a great day also. Glad you got to join them - I hope to join on the next one.
I enjoy the commentary, I loved how the team went back to jump the stump. I live in eden and to hear your commentary on some of my favourite features made me smile. I agree with the feedback on improvements that are needed such as specific drainage points on the trails that need love. We have a great team of trail matinence volunteers who are working on things. We also have a bike mechanic to fix your annoying f@#$%g brakes.
@@Shinobi_choji it's a Gilmer drive - toothed belt, so that's normal sound. I'm probably going to put a standard belt drive back on soon, as this is pointlessly noisy and problematic for no benefit.
So cool. I assume the overheat was because of the belt? or just 'because" Rx8? :) I'm paranoid of overheating mine and want to look at cooling upgrades.
So jealous!! What a gorgeous run for the first in ten years! Loving the squeaky sounds of the powder snow as you started off!! Have a run for me.... an Australian who has been lucky enough to catch squeaky powder at Perisher just once! Enjoy mate 😊
