Hey! The blue light pen, often referred to as a laser light, is used during home trials to demonstrate the effectiveness of lenses with blue light protection. When you shine the blue light pen on lenses that have this coating, it shows how the lenses filter or block harmful blue light, which can come from screens, LED lights, and other digital devices. This helps you visually understand how the lenses work to protect your eyes from potential blue light damage and reduce digital eye strain. - Ansh
@@Specscart Thanks for the response! I couldn't find any information on the website. It would be good to include in your marketing ;) and now I think I need to reorder my glasses with the filtered lenses!
@@kylebradburn3235 Hey there! Thanks for your awesome feedback! We totally get it-sometimes things can be a bit hidden like a secret treasure! Just so you know, we do mention it in the home trial box, but we’re taking your suggestion to heart and will make it clearer. That's amazing, it really works. I couldn't wear my glasses as they were slipping down every 10 seconds, now I am happy to wear them without any inconvenience. Thanks a lot!

NPD (Near Pupillary Distance) is the pupil distance between both the pupils when looking at a near object. DPD (Distance Pupillary Distance) is the pupil distance between both the pupils when looking at far objects.
Thankyou for this! My glasses had been driving me mad, forever falling off. I did the hot water on the ends of the glasses arms, and it has worked really well!
3 different distances with no visible horizontal separation between each distance prescription without peripheral distortion is what they should be. Like those lenses that have two clear separate lenses but without the visible separation that can be seen. The whole width of the lens at the same augmentation with a seamless and invisible transition. Why can't it be done?
Hi, progressive lenses are intended to provide distinct vision corrections for near, intermediate, and distance vision without the use of separate lenses. This seamless transition is achieved by gradually changing the prescription within the lens. Progressive lens technology has evolved substantially over the years, but obtaining a perfectly seamless and distortion-free transition can be extremely tough due to complex manufacturing of the lenses. However, as optical technology advances, manufacturers continue to improve progressive lenses to provide wearers with higher visual quality and comfort and soon we would be seeing new lens technology without peripheral distortion.

Just received my glasses from you, didn't actually read the 24 hour delivery part so was very pleased to have received them so quickly. Bought the last Crompton 4 glasses in stock, love the frame and the construction quality is good

No mention of where to look at during measurement. If you look at arm’s length, you measure near and not distance PD. Phone camera picture also adds parallax error. I guess that’s good if you are good with a 5 mm error margin.
Thank you for your comment. In practice, glasses suppliers are based on sources of PD measurement (e.g. whether it was done via self-measurement, or submitted via selfie photos) to calculate the best spot for lens fitting. We also welcome our audience to reach out to us if you would want to know more details about how your PD measurement works!
Hi, you should see the astigmatism correction as soon as you put on the new glasses. However, in certain cases, it could take a few hours or around two week's time when your eyes are adjusting to the new prescription. And we suggest that you could speak to your optician and glasses supplier if you are facing issues with the blurry vision after trying the new glasses! I hope this helps!
@@Specscart Thanks for your reply. Today I ask about this with my doctor and they suggest me that around 2-3weeks is required. So that my eyes get use to new glasses.
Hi Jackie, can you raise this issue with our customer support team at support@specscart.co.uk? They will surely help you out with the problem. Let us know if you have any questions!
Dear Amber, Thank you so much for appreciating our efforts. It really means a lot. Please let us know your suggestions for the next videos, your feedback would be really helpful to create helpful content for you.

I just picked up my set of lenses, V.E. one verifocal and reading, but noticed the reading numbers are totally different from the verifocal receipt. Why is it so ?
Hi, sorry for the late response. There are different forms of prescription receipts, and reading bits are especially the parts that could confuse. As some specify the 'Near ADD' but others directly write reading strength depending on every optician's preferences. So we think you can double check the same with your optician if you are not sure about this!
Hey there, Sid is wearing Ferring 3 here. We have this pair in stock, you can place an order from our website. Here's the link- specscart.co.uk/clear-frame-reading-glasses.html
