I've seen the genius twice. Not that long ago and he was really on it. He went out on a boat at Donagadee in Ireland. Just looking ordinary with his nephew or grandson, I don't know which. Morningside drains my eyes of tears. Listen to it intensely 😢
The man has no limits other then gods saying Neil you need to slow down your music will be heard for the centuries don’t worry relax enjoy your time. Actually in case you forgot I wanted to show you my accomplishments. Let’s start off with creating mankind, the heavens and earth along with the animals and plants and actually all living things big and small. So Neil what do you think maybe can collaborate on some really heavenly music with no words but just sounds.
The person I gave my heart to gave me a cd of Neil Diamond when we met!I am 71 and that person was giving me his heart which we unfortunately could notshare cause was too late but we will be in each other's heart till we live!Dear Michael I will love you forever!☘️
In my 63 years, when I first heard one of his songs, it hooked into my soul. Since then he is the songwriter and singer that touched me the deepest. I will alway love and play his music. I never had the chance to see him live, but his music is enough. In my book he is a 10 star.
I just read where someone posted a comment that they were 89 and still listening to Neil Diamond, well, I’m 84, and just this minute listening tip-off him singing Johnathon. livinston Seagull ❤
I'm 58 and I believe Jonathan Livingston must be the first movie ever to stick to my soul. I never rewatched it since the early seventies, afraid to be dissappointed? But the soundtrack, in spite of my wandering through the "hardest" and weirdest forms of alternative and underground music in the early 80ies, never disappointed. I found it stunningly beautiful as a 10 years old kid, and still today it's comforting when I need that. And I think that poetic movie made me a convinced ecologist for the rest of my life :-) If the US brought one thing to the rest of the world, let it be Neil Diamond's music :-)
i remember they actually televised this concert ,we were glued to the tv and hypnotized by his soulful amazing voice.i never thought i would find this gig again ,thanks for posting
Some of his best music. I remember sitting in the theater watching the movie. Me and about 5 other people. I’m 70 and have seen him in concert numerous times. I still get teary eyed when I hear Be. Sung with such conviction.
Growing up with his music, I am so thankful for my generation. His voice and his writing will forever be listened to. Please, Parkinson's be good to Neil Diamond and all who have this disease. Neil was chosen to have this disease, and I know he is handling it as gracefully as he can. Stay strong, Neil. You are loved by many.❤
