Great for the sides of the face. The under neck is a big problem and I have sensitive skin. Try it out let me know. I find my Gillette razor is my best bet.
Got the silk epil 9 way back in 2018 and it was hands down the best one back then. Got one of these to replace that one which finally broke down and once again it is the best
I currently own about 6 electric shavers (Phillips, Braun, Remington) this one included please take my advice and go straight to series 9 o if you like rotary to 9000 prestige if they are beyond your budget save enough money til you can buy either Braun series 9 or 9000 Prestige the others are below in shaving performance. You will not regret this.
It has been 10 days since they had dispatched the item I returned. They do not reply my emails and closes phone to my face. They have been holding both the product and my money.. I am not sure if they will pay my money. So do not trust them..
I have a question/an idea ! I purchased Braun Series 7 Cassette 70S (9000 Series) (Basically replacement blades) and was wondering, theirs gotta be a way to sharpen/or send out to get sharpened my old Braun blades. Please Braun Series 7 people/customers/professional Braun Employees/Engineers , this is such an amazing product , please incorporate a blade sharping business that goes along w/ the sell of the new Cassette! You guys figure that out , literally quite possible the best product ever invented! Please and thank you. Anything you could do to solve this minor lil problem……. Thanks peace and love.
Braun shavers are fine, but their product booklets are GARBAGE! You'd think for $75+ they could include an instruction guide with actual WORDS, not just pictographs. The booklet claims to have instructions in English, French & Spanish but all they are is so-we-don't-get-sued danger warnings ("Don't operate with a damaged cord" etc), almost NOTHING about how to actually operate the device, charge it, use the cleaning station, the attachments, etc. Just picture diagrams with arrows and X's and other non-verbal communications. Fortunately I've found are a few useful RU-vid vids that explain bits of it (though this one, not so much). Whatever happened to WORDS?????
Surprised by the bad reviews. I've been using it for a month now and it is working really well and easily, no cuts at all and a close shave. Very happy with it. It's also a 'Which?' recommended shaver.
Why would this product not have a manual that describes in detail how to use it properly as well as the different attachments ? That is really unacceptable for a name brand product like Braun . Someone there should be fired
I'm very happy with the closeness of the shave, but the battery cycle time is criminally short, and I'm not sure if it's a quality control issue in the replacement blades, but the ends of the foil start to shave too close after a short time, as if the wear across the foil is uneven.
Not a bad gift for someone you may not like perhaps. As an engineer on mainly in r&d I take the view on any product I purchase is about whether i could do better and how. My advice to Braun is to stop selling stuff that only does a half job and poorly at that
We have a BIG problem on our hands. Companies invest more in marketing than in quality and the younger generations easily fall into the trap. Companies invest so much in beautiful, professional grade lies (marketing) that they themselves have come to believe their products are incredibly great.
My first experience with this Braun Series5 was a nightmare and my face full of bruises even though I was using Edge shaving gel…Should say that I am used to the manual razor and I had a 2 weeks beard !I had to switch to the precision trimmer to finish my shaving. Not impressed at all by this product. The only positive thing is it was excellent to remove hair around my ears! Also it was so messy the whole sink and counter were full of hair…
IF A PRODUCTS AD COMMENTS ARE TURNED OFF DONT BUY IT. No wonder it was on special when I bought it, trying to get rid of left over stock probably from refunds.
Why are you guys keeping the information about chargers so secret? was looking for a 120/220v compatible charger. Couldn't find any info about this. Being a frequent traveler, this one feature is a must.
Obviously this missfit in the video won’t be using this shaver in real life since they obviously all lie to advertise junk .just Panasonic buy an arch 5 for 80 without its cleaning station the arch 5 was the series 9 rival and it suppose to cut closer then a series 9 .i only own the series 9 pro but many prefer the arch 5 but if you have very sensitive the arch 5 ain’t for you and with an arch 5 it will struggle after 3 day growth from what I seen people but if you once every day or every 2 days it’s be better .the bruan series 9 pro cuts 7 days Growth but after 6 months it will struggle because blades go blunt quick am on month 11 and need new blade already but am thinking about getting the Panasonic arch 6 but the arch 5 is not far off from the arch 6 that I been told but I prefer the look of the arch 6
after using braun series 9 pro I switched to braun series 7. the razor head on braun series 9 pro is way too bulky and the built in trimmer performs poorly. After using the braun series 7 for 4 months now, I have noticed the following: - Once the battery is fully charged, I cannot use the electric razor for more than two and a half times. I shave every other day in average of 10 to 15 minutes each time. So where is the 60 minutes the manufacturer claims? Please note the facial hair is not extreamly coarse . The reason it takes me 10 to 15 minutes is the many, many passes needed in order to get a decent shave. In other words, the razor head is not so amaizing as advertised. - The precision trimmer attachment is almost as bad as the one on the series 9 pro except that ergonomicaly, it offers a better control and view of the area you are trimming.

It’s user error. It shouldn’t take more than 2min at the most, and I have super thick hair… the trick is to use a very slick shave gel/cream, and keep the head wet during use. They want you to dry shave because it heats up the blades and causes them to wear out… which makes them money. Also, only charge it when it needs it and the battery will last forever. Don’t leave it on the charger more than a couple hours. Also Make sure you have the head on the right way. If it’s on upside down it won’t shave closely.
@@norfolknwhey4787 thank you for the feedback. a) From my own experience, a wet head causes the cut hairs to stick to each other. b) I never knew there was only a certain direction to insert the head. In my mind, no matter how it is installed, during shaving the direction alternates anyhow. c) I never overcharge the device or leave it plugged in for long periods of time. The only thing I probably have left to try is a shave gel. If the performance doesn't improve, my only conclusion is that BRAUN sells inferior quality at a high prices.
I bought recently in amazon one of this shavers, let me tell you is really bad product. Does not shave correctly after a couple passes over the same area. This commercial is false advertising, the guy shaving in front of the mirror is already shaved in the path of the shaver, just the position of the camera and the shaver does not allow you to see it
