I'm thinking I should maybe make some kind of channel for the false wall to slide into so it stays moving at a 90% angle instead of possibly turning while it's moving.
Everything you see here is just so I can take it apart real quick and put my mower back on the trailer. The only problem with running through a track that I can foresee is debris getting hung up like mulch that kind of stuff and binding up the situation. I have some new videos where I'm using it with the walls bolted on for doing leaves and that kind of stuff and it works perfectly fine
This is the articulating hedge trimmer. I always thought these were just way too heavy to use I was right. They are too heavy to use but they're extremely versatile
@@sololawnprofessional ah yes. I have one of those as well, but it’s too long for the pole it’s connected to. I feel like if it were on a shorter length pole it would work a lot better.
I get this comment a lot. I'm not cutting the roots. It's already been edged. I'm just maintaining it. The round disc is not doing anything. It's a guide for the string trimmer. It just looks like a saw blade but it's not.
You're 2620 and that shindaiwa t model you have is still going to be more powerful, but this definitely closes the gap. I would hope Echo would warrantee the batteries at least prorate them
Thanks for your comment but this is spring maintenance and before you can use a string trimmer to maintain it for the rest of the season you have to use a bed edger to create the edge
The Time Master does a pretty good job going uphill just like any self-propeled lawn mower but nowhere near as good as the turfmaster. If I'm going up any hills, I'm not going to be bagging It puts too much strain on the transmission.
thank you for posting. i went to lowes and purchased one. thought the the "play" in the blade was a defect and most of the ones on the rack didn't have the play but after watching again i see that it is part of the tool. well i will be going out in a moment to try it and thank u again for saving this 73 yr old some time and money.
Thank you, I appreciate it. Since it is summer right now, make sure you remove the gas cap before working on it, so gas doesn't come spraying out all over you.
Thanks for the comment. This is a great tool for any landscape company, that maintains a lot of bed edges. If you're just doing one yard I would stick with the shovel, but if you have a lot to do this is the way to go.
I always appreciate the feedback but this is a great machine for its intended purpose knocking down tall weeds and grass and it does a great job. Plus pushing any machine to the extreme it's going to bog down. Whether it's a bush hog or a tree mulcher on a bobcat. They're all going to have limits.
I'm using two different tools here. One is the bed edger and the other one is the edgit pro disc. It's attached to the string trimmer. It just cleans up the grass edge that was jagged from the bed edger
Great video. I have Echo 2600 and Brushcutter attachment. I installed 3-tooth blade (like you have). Brushcutter has black plastic shield. But you don't use shield. Is there any reason? Would it be more efficient without shield?
Thank you, I appreciate it. This is not the brush blade attachment. This is a trimmer shaft with the blade adapter on That's why I don't have a guard. I don't have one to put on and it's a little less weight. if the guard doesn't interfere with what you're doing I would just keep it on. Oregon has a blade I just saw the other day for cutting briar bushes and that type of material looks like a real winner, if you don't have to cut down any trees
i rented one to do a fencing project, damn thing hit a rock and almost ripped off my arms. and when I let go, the motor head was still spinning. i wasn't just gonna wait so you know what I had to do. reach in and hope for the best.
@@sololawnprofessional I understand that but people drive past and see you doing it probably think that's the kind of work you do. At least talk them into adding flowers or something to balance it out.
@Raiders64 The tree is actually centered if you're looking at it from the road It looks perfect. The angle I filmed is the only direction which no one sees, that looks off center. Also I'm just re-edging what was already there. To fix the problem I need a buy sod make the bed bigger on the right hand side and they don't want to do any of that. When I first started doing lawn care I would fix problems like this without asking permission, sometimes people have an emotional attachment to certain things like the father planted it. Mother sister, what have you and making changes even though they would be correct have not been, So now I've been doing what people want for the last 15 years and it's been great.
@@sololawnprofessional I'm not busting on just thought it looked off center I was a landscaper for 27 years it just cought My I I'm sure you do awesome work. 👍
I have a different model sears wheeled trimmer. Probably older. It's a beast! We use it in the yard and farm. I've never had it kill like that or bog down. We love it!
Thanks for your comment and watching my video I appreciate it this is an incredible machine. The only reason why It cut out was I allowed the Weeds to get wrapped up around the trimmer head I was taking too big of a bite.
What a Great job! I could only imagine what you could Rig up if you actually put some Money in to this unit! I am thinking like metal sides for trailer and metal push blade! This is the same concept as the garbage trailers i have seen only they use a hydraulic piston behind the blade to push the stuff out!
Thank you for your comment but there isn't any mulch around the tree and there hasn't been for the last 3 years. What I was raking up was just grass clippings left over from the edging to be collected after I was done.
Thanks for your comment. I appreciate it. You can use the bed redefiner any direction you like. Sideways ,forward backwards doesn't matter, You're not going to hurt it. It easier on the edger going forward, but it doesn't dig out soil going forward.
