Hi, developer here! Inochi2D works quite differently from Live2D in some aspects under the hood, which makes some things you might've learned in Live2D harder to transfer over. The formats are not intercompatible either, so you can't make Live2D models with Inochi2D; only Inochi2D models. As for "warp deformer", what you're looking for is MeshGroup, it's a node you can add via the Nodes panel (Right click menu) which will deform sub-nodes based on a mesh you give it. Also, it is mainly developed by just me.
BTW keep in mind that inochi2d is still in beta, and developer says it's gonna change a lot when 0.9 comes out. Also there's a lot of material in the discord channel for inochi, so in my opinion what we need is a person that's ready to read all that information and redo it as a structured video tutorial
I drew my model in IbisPaintX mobile!!! It was crazy and didn't think I could pull off so many layers (and the amount of times it crashed just absolutely broke my entire will to live). It just goes to show that there are so many available options to get you started on content creation! Do NOT let having cheap/free tools stop your potential!
woaah, thats cool! The Model on youre Channel was drawn on Ibis ?! Also yes 100% agree, it is Possible! Just more Pain with free Programs and bad Hardware haha
I left out the Copying of the Physics Settings of the Eye. Its working too! you can just duplicate your Eye Physics so don't do it twice! Also sorry for the double eyelash haha, was my mistake
woahhhh itts so pretty!!! i love the final results! also do you think you could do a stylized eye tutorial? like simplified non anime eyes?? ive been looking for one for a while
Thank you so much! Ofc i could try! Which Type of Style are you searching for, liegt a more Cartoony one ? Do you have an Show maybe or smth that gets close to that idea ?
Hey im a newbie at live2d and i just downloaded the free version to try it out, ive been struggling with the limited amount of parameters and i wanna know how to handle that?😭 also great video btw it made me motivated to start learning live2d!!🫶
Ohh nicee! Are you running out of parameters ? I would recommend to only use the minimum of physics parameters! If you have any further questions you can join my discord and i can help you personally!
I do all my art on my phone cos I’m POOR and I’ve always wanted to stream art but I thought I’d need a tablet or iPad. I’ll definitely give prism a try!! Thanks!!
You just earned a sub for this! Doing a crap ton of research so I can work on making a model of my own, because I'm hoping to become a vtuber within the next couple of years. I've been working with a friend of mine on design ideas! Just need to learn how to make a model (even though my friend offered to make the model, and probably still will xD)
@@vincentkenjiro4054 oh yeah. What exactly didnt worked on your PC ? maybe i can help you! you can join our discord for easier communication if you want
bless you for these videos, they help so much!!! I'm planning to attempt to draw my first vtuber model soon and I had no fricking idea where to start with the head
did it extra for you, idk if its going to help at all haha 🤣 The best thing i can tell you is to google for a template and export it in Live2D Cubism, make it transparent. No Shame in using a template, its going to give you a good idea how things should look like.
Iv’e been making live2d models on IbisPaint for a year now, i have rigged one model but my camera on vtube studio wasn’t working at all so i postponed it, im currently working on a model in IbisPaint. Im actually glad im not the only one who did this lol
i came across you on the algorithm, and i think im ready to start actually learning how to do rigging 😭 because i always felt overwhelmed by them, everything aside. I love your model!!
As someone who uses the free version (might use the trial for my V3 model once I finish cutting up the layers cause the art is already done), it is pretty good and my models arent too bad, the only problems with the rigs I made are from my own inexperience with the program.
Its totally viable! I could use the free Version without complaining too much! But As someone who did heavier and more serious models, i can not downplay the heavy disadvantages of the free Version. The biggest ones are : - Only having a texture Atlas of 2000 pixels It makes the Model incredibly pixellated in higher Zoom ins. - 30 Motion Parameters. It Limits the amount of physics and Features so much, it is unbelievable how smart the move from live2d cubism was, because that change Made the free Version, really the free Version, that felt like "if i had more of them, i could make a professional Model" 😂 Tbh the 100 layers, 30 groups and 30 motion parameters are playing into each other. I never felt the need to require more layers or groups because i only have 30 motion parameters in the first place 😂 I Think thats it, and live2d cubism Made a great Job into giving the premium Version a premium feel! I Think there is a complete free program (Inochi creator) that is supposed to be "free premium live2d cubism Version" but i didnt tested it yet!
I just found u and Im in shock such a cool person with amazing video editing style, pretty model, and such a way of explaining stuff has so little subs! Like guys let’s make him famous! He wanted to show people that they can make good looking model without paying and that with enough work and planning it’s accessible! Like damn that’s so nice! And the free way to see the model and inspire urself! Like that’s so generous guys let’s sub him and help this dude lol!
This is cool,i have made posable art puppets in ibis paint and people have told me they remind me of vtubers, which they are inspired by them eheh, if i ever get a device that can use live2d i def want to give it a try <3 , keep up the good work, and ty for giving me new info
