No, you're not the only one. As a person who favorite bot is Bronco, how did u think I felt after loss, after loss, 4 times, get dethroned and not returning next season? But I don't believe the Whyachi team made hydra to specifically take over them, even Jake said they made hydra because he loves reason and zander, Bronco. And hydra should be with bronco, not against it. The show made it look like it was the battle of the flippers. Even mystrsyko2, who obviously hates Bronco, said that he wants to see more powerful flippers because Bronco is the only one. Lucky & Subzero are the closest to bronco, but even they suck ass. So at first, I was ok at hydra coming, because I want to see more bots flying. But now after them dethroning my favorite, nah. How dare they do that. S5 is not gonna be the same without my favorite bot. Hydra is returning, and I'm hoping they get the 4 opponents tombstone, biteforce, whiplash and HUGE to see if they really are a super sayan God according to the show. European flippers are coming too, and if I had to root for a flipper, it's Orion/Apollo.
@@jonathanf2392 yea i agree. the producers made what should be a friendly alliance, into a rivalry. really sickens me how they put bronco with every bot that completely defeats the purpose of the flipper, like HUGE for example. god i miss 2015 bronco... the opponents back then were actually well matched
@@Skortchee yes, I believe they purposely gave Bronco tough opponents not just for hydra but for the fans as well. You see at the end of s3, there were a few, just a few, people (mystrsyko2 included) that got skeptical about Bronco because he lost to whiplash. During the hype for s4, more criticism of Bronco emerges. And when hydra was introduced, instead of allies, it became rivalry. So you have Bronco fanboys (like me) who you defend him while the haters goes with team hydra that will ALWAYS criticize him. And it annoys me of how they forget what Bronco can do. You know, 5 straight wins? Flipping bots OOTA? 12ft in the air? Semi-finalist? Did we not forget this? What other bot was capable of doing these amazing things? All the haters kept saying overrated, sucks, stupid design. And i understamd it's opinions, but why so many negatives? It gotten really bad at the beginning of the season. So with the producers knowing how much fans hate Bronco, they want to satisfy the haters by *PURPOSELY* fuck over Bronco. 0-4, hard opponents, dethroned, rival as super sayan God? And you might be thinking what about free shipping? Well i believe it was a disguise so that the producers motives aren't that obvious. But out of all things, can you explain why Bronco flipper broke? Coincidence? I don't think so. It's not like that's a common issue, it was so random, out of the blue, and maybe someone tampered with the titanium just so bronco can lose. But why free shipping? Well without a weapon or low wedge, how do you beat free shipping? And it's sad because, why did it had to be my favorite bot? Out of all 69 bots that competed in s4, why did my favorite bot that was a semi-finalist and 5-1 record got fucked by the producers? Want more proof? I believe, the show will tamper with the event to satisfy fans. Like duck vs bombshell? Like what if bombshell won? Wouldn't the fans boycott the show, never watch it, lose ratings and battlebots end? You think the producers want that? Or how about the last chance rumble? How did bombshell UNANIMOUSLY won? What aggression was there in the second half? Oh, that's right, because they don't want tombstone vs SOW. If tombstone won bombshell, and lockjaw won SOW, then we would get tombstone vs SOW. But seeing how duck lost to tombstone and bombshell design was perfect to take out tombstone, you wonder why now right? And why doesn't the producers want SOW vs tombstone? Because they think it's too dangerous? Ever wonder why hellichopter in s2 was never qualified to fight? Too dangerous according to the producers. Ever wonder why we never gotten powerful horizontal spinners against each other in the last 2 seasons? Because they're too dangerous and the producers don't want that, despite the fight nights are supposed to have dream matchup we all wanted, like tombstone vs SOW? Oh wow, I just completely went off topic there, I'm sorry. But the point was that Bronco was fucked because of the fans & producers and I'm upset of that.

Well that should have been but *WHOOPS*, flipper broke off. There were other big name bots that got fucked over too because of bad matchups. Gigabyte - minotaur, HUGE, witch doctor (I know they won minotaur, but it was "supposed to lose." And after losing to HUGE they face a 3-0 bot that beat whiplash?) Duck - Cobalt, Lockjaw, Quantum (again, surprise that he won cobalt but what could duck do to quantum? Lockjaw was fair, but still pointing out that he's facing an elite) Texas Twister - SOW & whiplash (Why give a bot that controversially won once and another win against an 0-4 bot 2 ELITES?) Rotator - Sawblaze, Tombstone, deathroll (I know he beat tombstone but what made rotator determine to fight really tough opponents? Essentially 3 elites?) Monsoon - Biteforce (1-2 and he gets the #1 bot, really?) Bombshell - although his opponents weren't really tough (maybe lockjaw), were the producers not nice enough to give an 0-8 bot an easy ass opponents? Subzero, lucky, jasper, petunia, any low tier bots? Bronco - Biteforce & HUGE (do I need to explain?) The point is that all bots should be given a fair shot at matchup no matter what. I understand giving a tough bot tough opponents but why give a struggling bot a tough opponent? Do the producers not really care if a bot goes 0-4? I mean how would you feel if you take time off just to dedicate it building your bot, sacrificing time and thousands of dollars, going through the process of making it to battlebots, and then get fucked by going 0-4? I know about dream matchup too, but they are dream matchups because of the opponents worthiness. Like if for some dumb reason tombstone and minotaur suck ass, can't destroy the opponents, or winless, would tombstone vs minotaur be a dream matchup? It was a dream matchup because of their past performance. Why can't the matchups just follow a simple algorithm? The first matchup would be based on past performance (tough vs tough, easy vs easy). And from there, winners takes on tough opponents (other winners & have power) while the ones that lose gets easier opponents (struggling bots). That way it's much more fair for anyone to get in the top 16. Like was it fair for blacksmith, uppercut or even quantum to get in while hypershock didn't? I'm sorry for ranting but the unfair matchups are related to why my favorite bot fucked over.
Per their Reddit AMA: "no humans allowed on Bronco :)" Bronco can throw a 250lb robot 15ft into the air. If triggering the flipper doesn't kill a human sitting on it, gravity will.
