You need support as a mum, especially as a mom who’s also a student. You need money and support to survive. Bring someone along who can provide childcare for you and your child when you’ll be in school because you need to show up to school and meet up with assignments and school errands.
Thank you for sharing. Please I have been an elementary teacher in Nigeria, certified, I do not have an experience in care giving job but I have with children even babies. Can I still apply?
Hello, I have been following you for over three years now if I’m not mistaking, could you please send me the most suitable medium to reach you directly 🙏
Because the rural areas in the province I’m in need CCAs, there’s more demand for caregivers here. So students find jobs after school. Whether you want three jobs depends on you and how you’ll schedule your shifts.
Thank you for this video it is very insightful. Please I want to ask anywhere I can do a course for a certify care worker in Nigeria. I have an experience in taking care of my sick father for almost 3 years but i need a certification to back it up.

Thanks for watching! Hmm…i think online courses are the best options because you’ll want to learn within the Canadian standard or something close to it. Let me make my research about this and I’ll get back to you. Meanwhile, please check online courses for now.
The home caregiver pilot program gives you the opportunity to work as a caregiver in Canada. Please check IRCC and prepare for the next possible opening to apply. Also, check my previous video before this one for details about the program.
Hi the program is 32 weeks on their site. It’s not up to 8 months…is it pgwp eligible? As you need to study for 8 months upwards to be eligible for pgwp
Hi, many thanks for all you do. I just started following you here because I find your content most insightful. I want to find how someone who qualified as a registered nurse (diploma) here in Nigeria more than 20 years ago but has not practiced (was doing another business outside nursing) can she take advantage of this opportunity? She has the certificate and clinical experience as a student nurse. The only experience post qualification close to care is caring for her 4 kids the last 15 years. Is there any chance here for someone like this? Thanks.
Hello, thanks for watching and reaching out! Yes, she can. She just needs to create a CV/resume that fits into the job description of a caregiver. Your nursing work experience could be a bonus.
@@BlackprowriterHello goddess of beauty, I would like to add something to your advice. In the letter, she can talk about her experience at own home like children, family member or another person who needed a care. In Ireland 🇮🇪 HomeCare agencies asked these experiences if you don’t have formal experience.
Hello, thanks for watching the video. Just to clarify, I don’t have a format for getting picked. Please understand that no one can guarantee that except the person who wants to employ you. What I have are tips on how to write a resume in the Canadian standard that might get an employer’s attention. I’ll make a video on this topic, please subscribe to my channel and join the community.
