Hi my name is Mindy and welcome to my channel! I am a diy enthusiast with an aim to inspire and empower other women to get creative when it comes to updating their homes.
This is the channel for you if you are looking for simple yet creative home projects! I love to create with wood and share easy and beginner friendly diy projects that don't require a ton of power tools to accomplish. You'll also get tips for using power tools if you've never used them.
Additionally find unique ideas for creating seasonal home decor on a budget with dollar store wood hacks and projects using wood scraps.
I'm new to your channel. Great trays. Thanks for sharing the video. I like the last tray the best. The colour is fine for me. I' cannot find the link to your Etsy store. :-(.
I know it was 4 years ago that you did this, but I was wondering - how many casters did you use? And where did you place them along the unit, just at the corners, or did you put some more centrally as well?
It's four casters, one on each corner. Now that I've had it a while though, I'd suggest adding some construction adhesive to the caster base before screwing on or adding wood to the underside of the cube shelf for a better screw grip. Hope that makes sense!
🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨 AWESOME Video! I just made mine and what @SimplyMindy doesn't tell you is it only takes about 15 MAYBE 30 minutes tops to make. That's making the cuts and putting it together! BEST Project ever!
Thanks Simone! If you're a beginner, I suggest starting with pine. It'seasy to work with and you can easily find it at any of the big box hardware stores and get it cut if they have a wood cutting station. I'd love to know how it goes if you decide to make one!
That's one pretty island you've made! Thank's for all the great ideas. I'm working on an island too and have been watching a lot of videos too... We've just moved in a smaller appartment since 3/4 of our kids have moved on their own recently. We love our new smaller appartment but we do really appriciate extra storage space, especially in the kitchen.
Hello! I just stumbled on your channel for the first time and I'm so glad. I absolutely love the tree with the holes. I've never see it before. Definitely going to try that for next year.
