glad to see I’m not the only one with tons. Maybe consider drop photo clothes and thrift when you get somewhere new. Then you get variety too. I’m going to look at adding a ring light now. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! I haven't stayed in Uluwatu for a longer time, only did a day trip there, so I don't really think I can judge. But Uluwatu is definitely more "hip" with a lot of surfers, as Amed is more calm and chilled with great diving spots.
Dam, couldn't watch this sorry. Way too boring, I get you're working so you are living boring lifestyle but try to remember people come to this places for fun. This video is devoid of any fun 😢
Agree, but hey even if you want to, it's not an easy task to achieve the numbers like Bali & Phuket (for better or worse) not even your Boracay get the numbers. But yeah better keep low key, like Mentawais, put surfing tax per-short period (US$128 per-15 days if surfing as we speak). I don't think Siargao apply the surfing tax by intention to keep it low key ya? it's just not yet that popular, just in early stage of mass tourism if I see some footage of catangnan bridge.😊😊
Hello! What app do you recommend for simple line drawings? I want to put my line drawings on different solid color backgrounds, and also to copy+paste them to create patterns on solid backgrounds. Thank you very much!
Many international artices and travellers observations says that Bali is very saturated due to mass tourisms and become cheaper because of lots of people and tourists. The quality of toirism in Boracay though a little high in price is much better. We need to understand that in the previous presidency sometime in 2019 due to pollutions and over tourism Boracay was closed for more than 6 months for a massive clean up and putting things in order that is why when it opened it is now being called new Boracay this did not happened to more popular tourist destinations in any ASIAN country. With that move of the governmrnt there was a similar move to other tourist beach destinations in the Philippines like Siargao and others that is why tourists nowaday enjoyed a much cleaner places and especially beach destinstions.
Bali is distinctive, that's why it's popular and at the same time also makes it crowded. Let's be honest, if it's only about beaches and beaches alone, you can get that everywhere. That's exactly the reason why Boracay couldn't raise it game to the same scale like Bali and Phuket. Here's the clue, there's an island in Indo, named Kei Kecil with Ngurbloat beach and Pantai Madwaer with sands as fine as fluor that could blow any beaches that boracay could offers plus there's no slum and ugly town to sore your eyes.
This video just popped up on my RU-vid page and I realized that I met you in Cape Town last year while learning how to freedive! Glad to see you were able to freedive in the PH, definitely recommend going to Panglao if you ever have the chance to go back there :)
Love your content! Your Siargao DITL video helped my husband and I choose this spot as our DN hub for the next couple of weeks. We’re wanting to do the boat tour but are unsure of where it is. What is it by?
Oh that's amazing to hear, really happy that this video helped you guys! For the boat tours you simply have to go to the general luna port, there is a little office right before the dock, where you can walk into and just ask about the boat tours. You can choose between different options, but if you want to do a private one, as we did, you can simply just hop on a boat pretty much right away!
Bali is where the biggest surf wave in entire southeast asia located, named "the bombie Uluwatu". Not only that, Bali also boast the most consistent surf condition in the entire southeast asia that hit 99℅ in uluwatu or ultra consistent. To say siargao is the next Bali in term as surf destination is a scam. Mentawais is waaaay way way better less crowded option for surf destination other than Bali. Both in Indonesia. Siargao is not on the same level with those 2 as surf destination. Just facts, overhypes don't give you ocean swells.

I'm from Jupiter so... I think I love both but I don't know how to get there and apply for a e-visa beacuse we don't have the so called internet here in our place. 😢
Thank you for posting this Amelie. Lots of interesting experiences and ideas. I don't go by scooter so I guess a car or bicycle is the way to get around... Is it possible and popular to walk much around Amed?
If it’s raw island vibe where you can outpour and leave your worries and stress and just be with a community that will accept and drizzle you with love then go to Siargao. It will change your perspective. You’ll be more in tune with yourself and your surrounding. ❤😊
