The hazards end up being converted to a brake signal. I have a led strip and it just flashes the entire strip instead of just the turn signals. When pressing the brake pedal and one turn signal at the same time it causes to hyper flash the turn signal. Without the brake pedal being applied it functions normally sequentially. For the life of me I can’t figure out how to get everything to work 😢

Clear taillights are totally legal, many cars came stock with them, a good example of this is the lexus rx330 The only requirement is that the lights when energized has to be their respective color, red for brakes, amber for turn signals and white for reverse lights

wouldn't it be much easier to just design a flexible PCB with LEDs already attached and just have it made by PCBway or some similar company? You would get a professional Finish and it was probably even less work as you have to design the circuit anyway? No hate, just curious

yes and no, people have done it but it requires a TON of mods to the inner and out housings. the spec d inner housings are sealed into the permaseal of the spec d tail lights so it makes it nearly impossible to remove the inner housing without cutting it apart.
