The Separatists created them as advanced Battle Droids..but the Clone wars ended before they were activated. Then the reptilian Cylons....refugees from the Clone Wars....re activated and reprogrammed them.
This is my first W40K army, painted MANY years ago, when the krieg death guard miniatures didn't exist yet (but they were still mentioned in W40K history). I simply converted the miniatures of the Steel legion of Armageddon (with the addition of a tip on the helmet, Prussian style) and decals for the vehicles (iron cross) style first world war. Questa e' la mia prima armata di W40K, dipinta MOLTI anni fa, quando ancora non esistevano le miniature della death guard di krieg (ma erano comunque citate nella storia di W40K). Ho semplicemente convertito le miniature della Steel legion di Armageddon (con l'aggiunta di un puntale sull'elmetto, stile prussiano) e decals per i veicoli (croce di ferro) stile prima guerra mondiale.
