I could do without this woman’s interpretation of the artwork. Louise’s work appears to have come from a place of trauma and abuse. Some people manage to heal and move on. Not so sure she is in this category.
"Rubbish." "So glad you said that" Yet psychological testing shows they have a FAR lower spatial awareness. It's not rubbish. Stereotypes exist for a reason
What a marvellous lady !! Still driving at that age and very well seemingly !! Always brings a smile seeing little videos like this I’m not a big BBC fan but that was so lovely to let her have one last ride in the car that she had first driven, it’s sad that she passed away 2 years later in November 2014 but it appears she lived a happy and fulfilled life God bless 😊
NLOTH is where the wheels started to fall off in a big way. It’s a shame cause I love this band, but this record isn’t one of my favorites. And the albums they’ve been putting out after this have been mediocre at best with a few good songs sprinkled in.
Let's not forget that Dali was inspired by a Spanish Carmelite priest, mystic, and poet, St. John of the Cross. He drew a picture of Christ from God's perspective, hence why this painting is even called Christ of St. John of the Cross.
A good video Rick Walker. If he was with us today, I wonder what he would be really thinking about the state of play in the disUnited Kingdom, especially after 13 years of this right wing government.
When anyone tunes in to listen to Bono's Live Interviews, it's the beginnings of A U2 Sharing Themselves With Others across the globe 🌍..The Rest Comes Down To Us, Do We Let It In - Or Not..' You're Left With A Challenge '.
NLOTH was a brave move almost a prog rock album. Bono was in fantastic voice on the 360 tour. Unfortunately the rot set in and the downfall was very fast as soon as McGuinness' departure. The decisions made since Oseary's reign have plunged the band into an artistic and credible mess.
NLOH is close to my favourite U2 album. They should have left Boots off and put their single Electrical Storm on it. Would have fitted perfectly and made an already great album into a potential classic.
Why does everyone always say U2 have sold 170million albums, just because it still says it on Wikipedia. Someone said recently in 2022 they had sold 170M albums, so that must mean they haven't sold one single album since 2009m as according to this video they had sold 170m then. The numbers are bullshit.
2:55 LOL I believe the show could've chosen a better picture to illustrate Bono's involvement in petitioning for Peace among world leaders 😅 (not exactly the best exemple of an "ear" for Bono's demands...)
Just listening to Bonehead aka Bono makes me sick ... he is so phony and contrived...the Edge (the idiot) could barely play guitar till Daniel Lanois taught him how to play....rubbish
