By far the best reaction I've seen to this. No pausing, no yapping all the way through it. Just listening and taking it all in. Brilliant. Ain't she just stunning. Unbelievably beautiful and her voice is just so hauntingly stunning.
Even when these three were just kids they could sing like this. You talk about a God given talent! Best of all they’ve been dedicated servants of our Lord their entire lives…I can’t say enough good about them. The first time I heard them live Sonya was in high school. This month she turns 50, Ben will turn 52 and Becky will be 49 in August…Good grief! Where have the years gone?❤
I think that may be higher than his typical C#5 belt. I think that note may be an E5 or F5. Anybody else think so, or am I wrong? I could hear the compression and whine he was using before he entered it. WOW! As a woman, it is hard for me to get up there in a full belt. WOW!
The Master really outdid him self with that last note. His best ever I say..totally unreal. It is not only the B note, it is something more... just before the vibrato... never heard that. Pure Art and then some...
One of the other great ones that George Jones was talking about was Marty Robbins. Please, Please, Please , play his song The Alamo. It is a song about when Texas was still a part of Mexico. When they wanted their freedom and to be able to join the United States, a bunch of the boys from Tennessee went down to fight and help them. One of them was the great Davy Crockett. The Alamo was a small Church that only 200 men defended it against the regulars of Mexico , only their families got out alive the band spot to the last one standing. 😢😢😢 Because of the brave man that all died there America jumped in and helped Texas become a part of the USA. Like I said the song is by Marty Robbins and it's called ( The ballad of the Alamo )
WOW! I can't believe I haven't heard this particular arrangement with this group! I have tears in my eyes. So beautiful!! Thank you Arlene for sponsoring, and thank you Lyle for reacting!!
Thanks Arlene & thanks Lyle!! I love all of 'Pure & Simple'!! There are SO many great songs in that performance!! And the harmonies are perfect!! ☺️👍👍🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
He does not. He takes requests from everyone. On patreon the top tier gets 2 free sing choices a month. Also, its $10 (for a song up to 7 min) to guarantee you choice gets reacted to, which can be paid via paypal.(the best way). Also. You can leave a link in the comments on what you would like him to react to and he will get to it. The list is extremely long (he doesn't go in any particular order either). This is why there are other ways to get your request reacted to sooner. If he has already done the reaction, either lyle or myself will put the link in the comment. I hope this answers your question and thank you for being a part of the community
Is that Mark Lowry singing lead in the first verse ? My old eyes aren’t working this morning. Did you know that Mark wrote “Mary Did You Know”? I adore the way they slowed this precious old hymn down. I’ve often thought that Bill Gaither’s vocal band is the best contribution he has made in his long career in Gospel music…well, other than the songs he and his sweet wife have written. I feel it’s the sincerity in Brother Phelp’s voice that makes it so very special and precious. You can just feel in your soul he means every word he’s singing. What a great talent from God!❤
