Nice to see it looking so good after all these years. I IRS'd it around '94 along with mine and Mikes and the welding was finished around '99. Just looked at my invoices and the brake kit was supplied to Dave in '14 so you must have sold it just before then.
Yes still in the garage, not driven since 2014. Used as a prop in a film 3 years ago but not driving. If workload allows it may get an airing this summer. Standard height and wheels now.
What colour was it back in the day ? Love the drive around Wimborne, very Homesick. Great advert for your love of VWs and the work you have done in the past to keep them alive 🤙😎👍
Could you please add how to remove the actual switch that is located under the key barrel that you showed. I would do a video of mine if I could get it out. Many thanks.
Hi Tony , if yours is a late bay if you look in side the tube that mounts over column theres a tiny screw to undo to remove the lower switch. if you can't find i will make a vide for you 😎
Hello mate, can you recommend a machine shop locally? I need to get some valve guides etc fitted to my mini head 🤦♂️ (I know it’s not a vw, but I hoped you could recommend someone) thanks 👍
Very simple yet very helpful video. I have a 71 bus which I'd like to install a 091 transmission but I've heard that I need to change the bellhousing using an earlier transmission. Will anyone help me with this? Please share a link or a video on how to do it. Also, when using this 091 transmission. Will increasing the fourth gear be necessary for better highway performance? Thank you in advance.
