Hi Blu Skys, glad to have helped. I was going to have the lintel made from 8mm stainless steel and cut out by CNC but it was horribly expensive. I was fortunate to have a contact who was able to make it up from Aramid / Kevlar cloth and epoxy - light weight and super strong so if you can find a shipwright who can make one up for you I'd definitely recommend this material. Thanks for watching
Hi Per, Stu and Marina, the blue bar you can see was attached to my car jack and I just made sure I had some extra timber padding between its base and the top of the keel (under the floor) and then loosened off the stays and wound the jack up which pushed the roof up. It was a really stressful process cause I really didnt know if it would work or if it would potentially cause even more damage ie: cracking the floor, splitting the roof or even losing the rig all together. As a result of my stress over it I totally forgot to film that process 😬 but you can see what I did in Ep2 at around 1:20
Thank you for sharing this with us Geoff :) As we always say there is nothing that can't be done... All you need is time and patience. Seeing how we inspire people also inspires us. A bit of a catch 22 situation 😅 Ps. We have the same measuring tape!
Argh, only just saw this comment.... sorry! Re: All you need is time and patience - agreed, skill and knowledge is totally overrated but having the same tape measure helps compensate ;) Hope you two are going well and not being driven too mad by the midges (a feature of living in Queensland so I know how annoying they can be). Cheers, Geoff
Looks nice SIr : ) Butt how did you hold the presure UP againt the "roof". I am thinking about the "self made tingy" you used and bolted and fasten to the wood.

Hi Dennis, Prices can change when owners request reductions. If we included a price in the video and it changes it would mean we would have to redo the entire video all over again. You can simply check out our website, the address is in the video or send us an email or a message through RU-vid as you have done and ask. Current asking price is $195k. Thanks, Geoff
Going to try that tomorrow, I just bought one, did not read any instructions, I pump it up 15 times, as soon as I remove the Inflation, I only have 00.5 of a second to put the cap on before it goes flat every time, it's impossible for me to put the cap on, it goes flat in less than a second Grrr, I gave up..
Hello Bob, sorry mate but this one is sold. Check out our website at www.euroyachtsaustralia.com and let us know if there's anything there of interest.
@@jewisperezdetagle8078 just as a round figure...what would be the cost of transfer of title, all the paperwork, additional costs. To have say that boat transferred to somewhere on the East Coast? Not sure where would be convenient for me yet. Thanks for your time and trouble, John.
thanks, I just bought a talamex 270 and a Mercury 6 hp four stroke engine. This is my first dingy so its a lot to learn. I really don't know much about this but now I know a little bit more! :-)
