Young hurrem was good as loud,fighter & lover and making her place she was great but to be very honest for sultana aka hurrem sultan vahide was a fantastic choice.
I dont think its nice to compare both actress specially their reason to like one than the other is in such shallow reason one is gorgeous and the other one looks old, as i check both actress in the way they portrayed their character both express it in different ways base on time, age and personality of the character they play, both have certain caliber that made it hurrem as in her early years and in her senior years in the Palace, Imagine meryem in the scene scolding and faint when bayazid and selim had a war its like a sister scolding her younger brother how about giving Nurbanu to a cold feet Vahide was good in doing it , meryem nailed hurrem in the series but vahide filled the shoes that went missing and walk it to the finish line in such glory.

I was reading about Shezade Mehmed and found out that he has a daughter, Humasah Sultan. It looks like Ayse Humasah Sultan, who is supposed to be Mihrimah's daughter was actually a morphed character of the two. Because, instead of Mihrimah's daughter, it was Mehmet's daughter who introduced Safiye to Murad.
