The USA needs a class of fuel funny cars like this. Nhra Big Show is too big and Nostalgia 21 gallon pump class is too small. A 40 gallon 2-speed AA/FC class would be just right !! Tons of racers would build cars.
Nhra needs a 40 gallon 2-speed class of nitro funny cars... the 21 gallon class is too wimpy and weak. No thunder. No ground pounding. Cowin has a much better idea with this class.
This 34 gallon pump nostalgia class is so much cooler than the 21 gallon class in the U.S. These FC's thunder ! And some of them do nice smoky burnouts, too !
I'm from California. Wish we had a class like these aussie FC's here in the states. I'd build and run a car myself. And I'm sure quite a few racers would dump their 21 gallon Nostalgia FC combinations and join the effort !!
One thing great about nitro funny car and dragster racing is the really beautiful rolls Royces (ladies) getting involved in drag racing, and of course the beautiful Australian accent is the icing on the cake.
5.37 second nostalgia funny car - wow! never thought I'd see that. That is a quarter mile, right? Funny cars that look (kinda) like street cars racing on nitro - this has got to be the future of drag racing. Forget all that 1000 ft nonsense with cars that look like jelly molds in the US and UK - way to go you Aussies.

As one lucky enough to grow up in So Cal in the 60's (and racing since 74')....and have had a father who took his son and friends to places like Irwindale, Lions, OCIR, Bakersfield, and the Winternationals in Pomona....my ❤ is with Nostalgia drag racing ✌😎
Yes if the guy drivers think they are gonna smoke the ladies on the tracks they need to think twice because the ladies will smoke their butts anytime any place in funny cars or dragsters.
