Yea I'm not really a fan. The way I see it you need to be very good with light intercepts so you don't use your med and cause the shocks to expire before your L1. He would've massively better if his L1 just detonated the shocks, but that's way too much common sense for kabam.
You can parry and start with a light attack. His light reach also is good. In war and battlegrounds, you don’t need to prioritize doing light attacks too. You actually wanna do Medium starting combos so your fight ends faster. He’s not that complicated to use if you practice and learn the timing.
@@BMcG yea I'm aware of all that. I practiced with him a lot trying to basically force myself to like him bc the damage can be very good. It all comes down to preference and play style though ya know.. right now I'm just crushin on Chee'ilth. She's freakin dope. Just took her to r3 after getting the dupe from that token thing. She basically gets guaranteed crits when they're bleed immune. It's not as good as the bleeds, but it's a nice back up plan.
If you want the fight to be as fast as BMCG's run then yeah, otherwise you're missing out on the retaliation damage and the extra gamma power you get from being immune from Toad's poisons that speed up Overseer's ramp up significantly, so for you, the fight will be way more slower especially since BMCG's Overseer is a R3.

I have my Silver Surfer 7r2 sig 60 and already when I announced to my team that I was going to put it R2 they told me that there was better etc... blah blah blah... I totally agree with you. He is underestimated. He is largely powerful enough, his power gain allows him to chain SP, his armor is huge (one of the best in the game and no one realizes it), his immu with 3 debuffs which also make him stronger are very useful, his energy damage on each hit (and which increases with each unique buff) are also very unknown. If you add the phase, the unblockable, the vigilance, the kit is super complete. I will pass vaillant soon so he will be one of my two 7r3. Norrin Radd forever 😎
That’s because she’s a skill champ and not a mystic champ, mystic champs are gonna be designed to counter Maestro. She’s also decent against Maestro, if you build up bleeds before glancing, you can keep pausing them once glancing comes up. I’ve done it in BGs before and it worked well enough. Oh, and her SP1 Grit Passive increases your chance to bleed, so your attacks with guaranteed bleeds *should* be able to have a chance to bleed Maestro
@@Green_Gold you gain more when you gain spirit charges, you gain more spirit charges faster than 20s by parrying, punishing specials and heavies. She also has Tranquilize which helps control incoming debuffs.
She’s not amazing against them, but her sig gives her precisions when bleeds fail to trigger due to immunity, so she can be used against Bleed Immunes.
A bit unfair to assume they have not been doing anything… Balance is involved with more of the game than you would think. All the stuff you love, champs you love, balance had a hand in it… lol
He’s a great generalist. He has some of the best AI manipulation and has some amazing safety nets for intercepts. If you already have a bunch of Science champs, he could struggle to stand out, sure, but I have mine at R3 and I have been using him a ton in War. He controls fights so well.
I’m glad for this. Think they’ve missed a few lately. But nice to see a tune up happening. Very nice. I have an sig 40 Sable. Pulled back to back at one point. I’ve forgotten about her. Hope they do a nice rework of her.
I was happily surprised to see that Spider-Punk was announced to get a tune up, I honestly thought he was amazing already so this news makes me genuinely excited to see how much more potent his damage loop will be
@@alexmotts nah, he doesn’t need high sig. it helps in some fights, specifically longer ones, but it’s not that necessary. Sigs are easier to get, especially with sagas, and if he’s in a saga, you can invest in him if you want 🤷♂️
I think his biggest issue was the Damage being for the rupture duration, If they change just for how much rupture is already a massive increase, my is a R3 6* and after some videos is started ranking the character, sig 100 and that buff will be welcome
@@BMcG yeah😂 I was considering to take up mine so this is really a good timing. But still not happy that they didn’t buff the destroyer… he is quite underwhelming for me….
Got valiant yesterday, decided to take her as my second r3, she is sig 60 for now, I took her up because she is super fun and I adore her playstyle. She is still flying under radar which is good in some cases because opponents may not expect the fight times she can do
