I bet on Norgorber and Zon-Kuthon otherwise Aroden dies for sure.....i mean Arazni can replace Zon-Kuthon......but it would be funny if its Rovavug. Personally i want Norgorber gone.
I really thought Erastil was going to die, so I'm actually free floating on my predictions now. I do find it very suspicious that Paizo declared Asmodeus safe on February 14th, as Valentines Day would have been a thematic choice to declare Shelyn safe. As a result, part of me is growing very worried for Shelyn. But, when I first made predictions, I actually had two guesses: 1) Erastil would die. Or 2) Torag was going to off somebody. If I ask who I think Torag is most likely to kill, I'd put Lamashtu or Gorum at the top of the list. (Note: Torag would also totally be willing to kill Rovagug, but I genuinely don't think Paizo is ready to kill Rovagug. Although, if Rovagug escapes for a while, he's totally eating Sarenrae...)
@linus4d1 Honestly, I just thought Paizo couldn't resist the urge to release a piece of fiction without killing off a married character... LOL "That's a nice tragic backstory you got there..." - Paizo Writers, probably
1:35 I don't think I'm alone in thinking this but you should NEVER feel like you have to apologize for choosing(what another creator calls, and I am stealing) the IRL server! As for what content to do my immediate answer is "YES!" but you are for something more specific so I think it would probably be easier to start PLACES, or rather "a" place, then talk about people and things from that place. Though if the place is something larger like Cheliax, Geb, or another country move to talking about specific places then to people and things. Basically take the region in larger chunks but talk about everything over time However, I understand that might not be how you want to do things so I think places is the best place to start, then move to people and finally other things.
Thank you for the response. This actually makes a lot of sense and i think it might be a good way to structure things for GMs wanting to run an adventure in said location. Thank you very much.
Well at least a world you may explore for hundreds years and still unable to truly say you saw it all. If I was some mad-rad-lad-adventurer, I would probably roam around northern part of Avistan. Crashed spaceship with murder-bots and technocultists, infinite horde of demons, and worse of all - Russia? Exciting. Maybe also visit Nidal. After Warhammer Fantasy Golarion looks almost cozy.
Refreshing myself on her Lore now that she was announced she'd become a core deity. Also, you said her soul was sent to Nirvana to be judged by Pharasma?
@@linus4d1 No worries, brother, thanks for making the content!! I am one of the refugees from 5e, and looking for all the PF2 stuff I can get my hands on. =)
WoW, what an underwhelming ending, the madlad Tar-Baphon a being that Vecna wishes he could come close to in terms of victories, who when entered the Battlefield resulted in defeat after defeat for the Shining Crusade lost to a bunch of meddling adventurers....pretty sure it was a group of Fighters.
Im currently running a campaign in Osirion and will likely tie some lore of the Dominion of the Black and Numeria/ Divinity and the background of the group's Oracle of Cosmos Poppet. Can you guys recomend me some materials to read about it?
Sorry about the late response. IRL has been rather busy. I actually have been doing something similar in my home game. You might want to look into Nyralathotep (both in Lovecraft and Pathfinder) and the Osirion pharaoh Neferuset (Pyramid of the Sky Pharaoh).
On the note of "kitchen sink" I will say that it IS a little weird having automatons running around a world with shortswords and mages but Paizo found a way to make it work well together without feeling unbalanced!
Golarion doesn't really take place in a specific year, not as a whole at least! Each adventure(single module, Adventure path, Society adventures) takes places in the 4700 year of whatever 20-- year it was in the real world when it was first published! So Rise of the Runelords(first PF1 Adventure Path) takes place about a decade before the Age of Ashes(the first PF2 Adventure Path)!
This is correct. I didn't want to get into all the details of it in this video as it does get a little confusing when you factor in events that happened in Rasputin Must Die.
I do try. These first few videos were pretty rough. I was just learning my way around. Please check out some of my newer videos and let me know if there is anything you want me to cover.
Gotta love the pinpoint deep dives! I really dig the PF1e lore books, even though the format is a little odd. I get it from a publishing sense. You have your nation books, cool. Then, you have your "10 of these things!" books, like Castles, Taverns, etc. Then the "Unleashed" line which is fantastic (Dragons and their lairs across the whole inner sea, Undead and _their_ lairs across the inner sea). This is so that if you want the one thing relevant to your campaign area, you have to but it in a book with 9 other places you might not use. Rather than give them everything in one book. So I get it. People bemoaning that Paizo is all AP and no site-based adventures are missing out, because there's no real 2e equivalent to these 1e books yet, if ever. Anyway, random thoughts, cool take on going deep again. Every lore channel I know of keeps going high concept and down, here's a vid for this nation, here's a vid for this god. So you end up with 10 channels making 10 videos about the same things. But, I don't think you have any competition for Castle Kronquist ;)
I get it. I was hesitant to make this video because I thought the audience for people interested would be small. Who is going to look up a video on this random castle? But I thought I'd throw it out there if anyone wanted it. What is there to lose? I'm glad you liked it. I really like these PF1 deep dive books too.
