@@LSSN1111 hi I’m not sure what that is,there are different rules for different countries, for example EU nationals are only required to get a pps number,we’re as non eu depending on what they are coming to do,study, work etc ,outside of the usual permit and visa need a pps number and GNIB ,please check this official link for updated information www.citizensinformation.ie/en/moving-country/moving-to-ireland/rights-of-residence-in-ireland/residence-rights-of-non-eea-nationals-in-ireland/
@@edmondjohnson7926 Hi,it’s not a clear answer one size fits all answer ,a lot of factors to consider, are you coming with kids for example, are you single or married, you need to write all these down and weigh your options, for example Ireland currently has a housing crisis , if you come it may be challenging to find a place to rent which can make life hard with kids

Sadly the housing crisis is still bad, but I always tell people to not let this stop them, get that job, get that visa, if you come and it doesn’t work out you can always go back🙂
My wife and I have thought deeply about moving to Ireland. The issue is two things. #1 We are unsure how retirement works in Ireland. #2 From everything we have read is Ireland isn't good too, teachers. Example Teachers 'leaving in droves' due to mountain of paperwork and rising living costs, INTO conference hears: `We are underpaid and undervalued, crippled by mortgages, childcare and the cost of living,' says one delegate as teachers' roles have changed.Apr 4, 2024 Here in the US, teachers are not respected, and they aren't paid well.

Sorry to inform but the UK is a country England, Scotland, Wales and NI are like the states of the USA and ALSO like the USA states have their own counties/regions to clear any further confusion I'm not criticising this comment or the person who made it they are just slightly wrong in their explanation, thank you.
No the US states don’t have their own countries lol they are in fact belong to one nation called United States of America so it isn’t compareble to the UK
