I had a PF 16 many years ago, equipped with a 40hp outboard. It was fast and comfortable to fish from. The ride was generally good, but the hull being mostly flat-bottomed while on plane made for a rough ride in choppy water. My biggest negative was a tendency for the rear to break loose in sharper turns when running by myself.

I would love to see real reviews by owners, not people that get paid to use them or paid to write about them. I am getting ready to buy my last boat and want to get it right. I think I live in the only part of the country where an on the water test ride isn't done. When you are spending as much on a boat as the tow rig (or more) You are entitled to a fair an unbiased review like Consumer Reports does. Of course, they accept no advertising so they can call a turd a turd. I have been saying this for years that the two most over priced items in America are bass boats and motorcycles. When you look at the price of an outboard motor and it is as much as a honda civic, something is wrong. The civic is far more advanced. My first new boat was in 1974 and they have stayed right around a year's salary. When you figure out what you actually pay over the course of the note, it is crazy. Motorcycles cost as much as cars and they don't update nearly as often. This guy's false enthusiasm is ind of sickening, at least to me.
This really is a great boat. The downfall is it is virtually the same money as a Z-6. People will buy glass every time. I have said for years the z-^ needed a 150. I expect this to finally get here since the z-7 finally got a 175. That should help this as it will raise the price of the Z-6.
