I was finally able to make this deck and learn how to use it, then they shut down the game. I took like a week off, and the game was gone. Rip, still my fav deck.
I love how most vanguard deck profile videos always has the person moving a card rapidly to the point where you cant even see the card especially qhen glare on the sleeves already makes it hard. Its a cold hard staple for deck profile video
What on your thoughts about the mythiarq habitat? Its the new grade 1 order promo thats when you play it, look at top 7 and call 1 unit card from among them. Would it be good for Zorga?
DJ_Zura, as far as I know, Maelstrom is better than Thavas. Seeing that to be the case, where would Maelstrom place in your tier list? (By the way, if I am mistaken, and Thavas is actually better than Maelstrom, I would appreciate if you could explain to me why that is) Thank you very much (and I hope you are able to read this before Vanguard Zero shuts down in less than a month).
May I ask why you think Maelstrom is stronger than Thavas? Thavas have access to double resist front row, a plus 2 combo with Algos and Tactic Sailor, and Alexandro which on second stride can be very lethal if you have access to tidal assault, Benedict, or another Thavas, you can check for like up to like 8 defensives and because of Alexandro the numbers also get pretty massive.
Maelstrom is most definitely not better than Thavas and I already think Thavas is a relatively mediocre deck so I think that would give you an idea of what I think about Maelstrom
Not much of a take but I try to get the g1 cc behind vg to put back the 2nd top call off gurg back to the deck so you get a free draw, cc and +4k while not having to overcall. Resist is nice too.
Yeah. I can't even fathom on Glendios player mind thinking he have a chance to win on Ange going second. Might as well scoop because it's a losing battle anyway.
Buffed jewel knights are so amazing. Playing them since the start of this month in global and it can take out any deck if you have the right cards and play right!!
I have been playing this deck for a month now and it has become my favorite deck this I’ve been playing this game. The lethality and versatility of it made me reached the rank 50th in the last season which for a casual like me who only play for no more than 10 matches/day is quite an achievement. I also noticed that this deck can be quite a nuisance to the current meta clan like nuba, link joker. And the amount of time I ended the match on 1st-stride is astonishing, it made me flabbergasted since I used to play nightrose which rarely does that.
As much as I dislike the Legion Mechanic and to this day will die on the hill of "Heals should not have been allowed to be shuffled back", end of Legion to G-Set 2 Meta was my favourite era of the game and probably Zero's peak in gameplay. While the quality of Legion decks was wildly inconsistent (see Big Bang, then look at Blue Storm), we saw a cool approach to deckbuilding to try and optimize them, Heals were no longer dead ass useless in your hand if you could bin them and while a mixed bag, pulling your Mate alongside the Legion was cool when you hit an SP. Then G happened and while DOTX, Duo and Brawlers shat on everything I'm willing to look past that for the fact that alot of older archetypes were still kinda playable and the addition of Heal Guards was low key one of the most impactful things the devs could have ever done and I wish they had introduced them sooner. Then the nerfs came in and it became harder and harder to play decks without GRs and we all know how that went.
Although it may not have been THE deck of all times I really enjoyed GN Legion - the only GN deck worth building unfortunately. You could easily beat first Legion season Seekers if you had even semi normal draws and got enough PGs for their one first push turn. After that you usually just overwhelmed them. Main issue came when Revengers got their Legion since they just trampled over you with impunity.
19:05 as an artemis main i am exceptionally offended /s god this was such a nostalgia trip, you definitely should make a real history of zero vid since the existence of this game needs to be documented for everyone to see
(too lazy to log into my gaming youtube account hi shadox here) VGZ to me was one of those love/hate relationships, my god some of the business decisions that Game Studio made were so stupid (who thought it was a good idea to stuff 7 clans into one set followed by a 1 clan set??), but man was it a fun journey while it lasted. It really did suck me back into the CFVanguard world after losing interest way back in 2014 when all my friends stopped playing it, and I managed to meet so many cool people who actually knew what the crap they were doing (like you). Starting TXL, hell, even starting to stream (occasionally), none of the stuff I've been doing online would have happened without this game so I have no regrets (other than giving into my whaling desires and shilling out over $2000 on this game...not my finest moment). My favorite memory would have to be making it on stream on one of the qualifiers and absolutely choking and doing horribly lmao, I got my 5 minutes of fame and I'll live on knowing how badly I screwed up lol. All in all, pretty nice nostalgia trip, GS sucks, justice for Tachikaze, dunno where I'm headed but hopefully it's something Vanguard related. Good luck with whatever you're doing man, your deck profiles have been great and you're gonna do some great freaking things.
Thanks Shadox! You as well as the rest of the guys at TXL were also among some of the coolest people I've met because of this game. Good luck to all of your future endeavors as well.
My favorite memory with this game is a toss up between grinding during Blaster Blade Liberator rank season or getting to legend in the first month of the game. In both cases I had a lot of fun playing the strongest deck I had at the time Vermillion and Gold Rutile. Every victory felt earned and I felt rewarded for putting time into the game. I’m looking forward to whatever you decide to next Zura. Your videos have been a blessing for this community especially in late G.
Your contents were my main if I needed to build any deck,,and honestly I go all out mostly when g started,,you know for only one reason which is Ahsha was there ,,,I got to meet different players different interests which make me love the game so much,,even when some clan got nerfed it was kinda a challenge and I still didn't give up on my favorite one,,I was hoping to see V there especially V Ahsha but guess not,, Thank you for your hard work during these 3 years ,, It will be great if we get the chance to see more of Tcg contents because I am heading that way tbh
Some part of me is thankful that the suffering is finally over, ESPECIALLY with the amount of community drama this game has produced. (Iykyk) Even I myself have been involved in some of it. You can really tell if a game's dying when it's playerbase decided to do pvp over playing the actual game
